Default 2009 WRX Engine Rattle

I didn't drive my car all day until tonight. When I started it in the garage, I could easily hear a metallic rattling sound echo in the garage. When I drive with the windows down, I can hear it echo off near by brick walls and fences. The noise never goes away. It can be heard idling, normal driving and spirited driving. No CEL were thrown and the car is reaching boost just fine. Any ideas? I don't want to be a part of "the club".

Mileage: 9,1XX
Mods: Invidia N1 Catback, CNT catted Downpipe, Torqued Performance Stage 2 Tune, Kartboy short shifter, kartboy front and rear shifter bushings.

PS: I plan on getting the build date in the morning. All I can say is I bought it just before the 2010's were released.

I know it's not the heat shield. I hope it's the pitch stop mount.

some aftermarket exhausts have baffles that are looser when the exhaust is cold or not at operating temperature and they rattle for a minute until it heats up i have magnaflow duals that do this, and i thought it was engine noise at first

I have Magnaflow too with headers and catless DP. And mine does the same thing. It sounds like popcorn is popping inside my exhaust for 15 seconds or so.

False alarm. I felt pretty stupid after I discovered what the noise was coming from, but I was also glad. The bolt in the o2 sensor bung on my downpipe had come loose. :P
