I just got my 1st Subaru on May 5th. 2012 WRX Sedan...no mods yet (need to argue with the wife about that). I'll be 34 in about 2 months. I made a lot of financial mistakes when I was in my 20's. I wanted the WRX since 01 and it has taken me 11 years to finally be in a better financial situation to afford it. Granted I could've bought one of the many options out there, but I always found myself coming back to the Subaru. haha

Bad idea, you'll regret it forever... Let the wife get the family car, keep the rex. You'll thank me later.

Plus, kids CAN fit in the back of your car. I have three and drive them around regularly in my '11 STi. Just sayin'.

Just turned 30 and will gladly sell the wrx to the first kid that offers decent money for it. I'm tired of the repair bills, the noise, terrible gas mileage, and rough ride. Been looking at a S4 or 335xi. I'd love an E60 M5, but think the power wouldn't excite pretty quick and I really do need AWD. If I can't get what I want out of rex, I'll use it as my (500chp) winter beater and get a M car.

To OP, original aero kit from the factory, V7 hoodscoop, Enkei wheels, coilovers (slight drop), Subaru 4 pot brake upgrade (painted black).

Over 30, no exterior mods,original blue, rear spoiler hood scoop original 2002 bbs rims and of course decals: stars and "original sin".
Under the hood, intake HP exhaust 20g turbo upgrade and more to come!

32, 2011 WRX hatch. Only visible mods are rally armor mudflaps, invidia q300, prova mirror covers and grillcraft hood scoop grill.

42, 2012 wrx hatch on the way, should be here in a couple of weeks. I have coil overs, sway, wheels and tires, tint, intake, spt exhaust, cobb AP, lots of led work planned, rally armor, and a bunch of interior work with leather and suede...and some real fun at the local track. New Daily driver will be a 2012 Impreza 2.0i with a lot planned for it aesthetically...not much performance wise. I'll never stop playing with cars. Half my house is filled (well, the home office anyway) with car parts just waiting for the cars to get here )

Was into Audi, BMW, MINI, VW for a long time, but getting back to my Subaru roots with these cars. Can't wait.

33, we traded a 2008 Altima coupe (V6 6spd) for this '11 WRX because we had a baby and wanted 4 doors. Works fine as a family car w/ baby for anyone wondering. Wife thought the STi was too loud and was embarrassed by the wing, I thought the STi was a little more than I needed and am slightly embarrassed to say I think the wing looks sick!

No mods.. well, spt boost guage, sti shift knob, spt short throw. All came with the car.

34 Ordered from japan and just got it yesterday. Already have 256 miles on it. From the factory with SPT exhaust and sti short shifter. My wife and i love it so much more than our previous car, Gen Coupe 2.0t.

I'm getting close to 30 (I'm 29)... I still get treated like a kid though. When I open the back door to my wrx and get my 5.5 month boy out I get some really funny looks. I overheard a woman say, "what a shame, kids having kids", while eating supper at a nice restaurant the other day. I'm a retired stay at home dad, and my wife is a surgery resident... we even waited 8 years after we got married to have our first kid.

My wife drives a 11 forester xt touring, and my daily is a 02 wrx with an almost complete sti swap (+lots of mods), and is in the process of becoming a rally/rallycross car. I just need to get a new daily so I can get started on my cage.
