This guy said he was rubbing with 18x8 +45 with 235/40/18s on stock suspension. Does His 09 WRX Hatch has very similar or exacty same fenders as my 2010 WRX Sedan? His are poking out a little. If I put 8.5" at the same offset wide rims on, they'll poke out more... Now this is a different story. Rubbing i can solve with a fender finisher roll tool for 50 bucks from Eastwood and a heatgun, but now Im concerned about Pokage! Poking out to me means more chance of rock chipping the side of my car on gravel roads. Im going to call it a night and search for 18x 8.5 side view pics on 3G Wrxs tomorrow, Please post if you have some examples handy. |

Unless your camber is out of wack, you shouldn't poke with 8.5 width and +44.
About that WRB hatch with the same wheels as me.... his 'poke' way more then mine do. So I'm betting either his front camber isn't good, AND/OR he actually has the +35mm offset version of the 18x8 nurburgring. Plus they also have the 'run wider' star specs. |

And if you look at his front picture
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...&postcount=147 And compare it to mine posted above, his is a fair amount farther out. Would be nice to figure out exactly why. |

So I don't know how they ship out from Subaru, HOWEVER, front camber on a 3g WRX is considered 'in spec' by Subaru if it's anywhere from -.8 to .6 positive! holy smokes... who would have thought.. ![]() |

Anyone running the Mach V Awesomes on their car? I am contemplating getting these but I am not sure if they will fit on my car. My suspension mods are Tein Springs, Whiteline F/R Sways and I forget the name of my rear camber kit some European brand I found on one of threads here. I am worried they will rub on my front struts. not so worried about having to roll my fenders.

I guess I should have been more specific they only come in one size 17x9 +42 it was just me being wishful that someone on here would have them and what they had to do to make them fit i.e. rolling fenders and or coilovers required.

youd probably need a little roll. not much else. will depend on the tires.
i run a 17x9 +44 with 245/40/17 with no fender mods |

+44 shouldn't have any strut clearance issues unless you are putting some pretty wide tires on there.

eh ill post it again, just because i DID just change some things in the suspension from what i previously posted. I used to have Epic Engineering springs, but the drop is about the same, the RCEs are just a little stiffer.
RCE black springs Koni Sport/Yellow dampers 22mm whiteline rear sway bar (doesnt really matter for wheel fitment) 17x9 +44 Work Emotion CR Kai 245/40/17 Continental ExtremeContact DW no fender work at all. |

Looks great, most everything I read said that fitment would work without fender mods.
I had at one time contemplated doing a 255/35r18 on a +44 or +45 wheel, though It seemed that would need some roll in the rear. |

Got 18x8.5 +44 Rota Grids in Hyper Black on PreOrder from WheelDude! Stoked, getting Bridgestone Potenza RE11s in a 235/40/18. I expect no rubbing with stock suspension. Should be here by Canada Day!

Offset 40? Is that right? There are offset 44's that stick out a bit more than that, and seeing no fenders rolled makes me wonder if it's really offset 40.
