Driving out of the NASCAR race in Vegas. Don't judge, tickets were free and I had a good time looking at all the race car tech, safety gear, pro cage welds and listening to people complain about fuel injection.

My wagon had developed a vacuum leak around fuel injectors 2 and 3 but I didn't have time to fix them before the drive. So the computer trimmed out as much fuel as it could (+15.99) and it's still getting too much air in at idle.

My idle is lumpy, rough, and boxer bumbly.

Guy pulls alongside in his F-250.

"Did you swap a V8 in to that thing? What kind of cam you runnin'?"

Went to visit my brother last summer over a long weekend where there was several race events and a few open track nights, so I took my car for my first track experience. My brother brought his young son (who was 3 years old). For the next week, all he kept calling me was "Uncle racecar driver". Best. Title. Ever.

godda love kids comments.

I literally lol'd when I read this. I'll be honest, I've only seen one black guy with a 2004 STI and I was surprised to say the least. lol. Around my neighborhood, I'm used to seeing black guys in 300s/Chargers.

I don't see why that would seem so outlandish. Subaru used to make FWD vehicles...

What if my subaru was built before 1996? I was a 90's kid. You make me feel old.

when he pulled up with the flat bed I asked him why he asked just a strange question. apparently people remove the rear drive shaft of their subaru so they can do hand brake turns? I told him if I had wanted to do that i would have bought a civic, cornering hard and flat is much more enjoyable and rewarding. thats why I bought a subaru.

In the middle of swapping trunks with someone, bikers parked next to us and one of the women bikers asked "what kind of car is that?". I said "A Subaru" and she said "I thought only lesbians drove those!"

He needed to know because you can't tow awd with a self loader only flat bed's or else bye bye diff and trans...if it was front wheel drive he could have used a self loader

wrong....they use a dolly. Just a set of independent wheels that lift the rear end off the ground.
