Last night I reset the ECU, and she performed a little better. However when I pulled in, I had a little bit of white smoke coming off in the general area of the downpipe. It didn't smell like oil, or coolant so I'm not to sure what was up.

Just a note, I am running without a heatshield right now (have a COBB one on the way).

do you have a open BOV? if so, recirculate that thing...

the stock ecu does not like it when vent to atmosphere..

makes your car not happy..runs crappy..

I do have an open BOV, it wouldn't be too hard for me just to throw the stock back on. Looks like I'll try that first.

in other news, the weather on Okinawa for the past few days has been absolutely been badass. pictures will come!

It really has been amazing. Can't wait to wash the car early saturday. Think I'm gonna Clay Bar her too. After that it's off to Typhoon to take the BOV off, Oil Change, possibly put the stock midpipe back on, and chech to see what's causing a small smoke problem I've been having recently.

Can't wait.

there is Gymkhana event this Sunday along with the Zeroyon.com Poker Run on Saturday.

the poker run is pretty simple to explain... there are 5 stations along the island which in this case the stations will be water dams and the bullring. you drive to each station and pick a playing card. the last station is Okuma where you show your 5 card hand and win a pot of money. but of course you have to have a $5 buy in to play. we rarely do these on island but when we do, it's fun, you get to see some of the island with a good drive in it and BBQ with car guys at a nice place.

instructions:
Tentative date of July 14th

$5 a hand.
$5 per person for food.

You can buy as many hands as you want. Feel free to invite non-ZY people along (please see disclaimer at end of post)

*** Rules.. you will drive to each Dam, in order, and any way you want. There is no set speed, or direction you need to take to get there. There will be a time limit for each point though.. so if you get lost, or break down, we don't have people wasting time sitting at a check point. You will be able to make up those missed check points at Okuma.. so don't worry if something happens and you do miss a check point.

Any extra money from food/drinks will go into the winners pot.

1st, 2nd, 3rd place money prizes. And possible worst hand pot.

If you have any questions, please feel free to ask.

I need volunteers for each of the stop points, will post the locations up later. And need volunteers to go straight up to Okuma to cook. Will do hamburgers, hot dogs, possibly some steaks or seafood.. up to you guys.

Again, this thing wont work without volunteers.. =) So please let me know if you're willing to help out.

If you want to do this, just post up, and please let me know if you will be bringing anyone. Also need to know how many poker hands you want to buy. (Kids eat for free.. unless you have like more then 2.. =D )

This is not a race, there is no prize for finishing first.. its a nice drive around the island with some friends and a cookout at the end.
