it really depends on the product your using, gloss and matte both have their advantages and draw backs as far as installation.

3M and arlon both make quality vinyl

Can you breakdown how you got the tint off? I screwed mine up too and need to redo them.

I basically just worked from 400 grit to wet 2500 in steps. Was a major pain in the ass

The owner of the dealership ended up buying it, he fell in love with it immediately.

Vinyl is pretty resiliant but its only 3 mm's thick so a normal rock chip will still happen

Eh to each their own, i personally think the "Hella Flush" fad is more of a joke.

as far as hiding a POS paint job, i could understand that more on older car's. Here in LA the only matte vehicles i see are usually range rovers, Lambo's, Ferrari's, couple porsche's, and the benz SUV

It gets pretty ridiculous here, i almost got hit by that d-bag justin beeber in his chrome fisker karma on sunset this week.

people here drive insane cars and dont even remotely take car of them, my friends neighbor has a bently gt that he doesn't even keep in a garage. it just sits out on the street, never gets washed, so sad.
