Well said and thanks for keeping it as clean as possible on here!

The longer lens helped a little bit just because the foreground was a mess where I was sitting and the extra length got me past it without having to crop too much. Then it turned into an experiment with compression and fall-off. It basically came out the same with 135 f/2 and 190 f/2.8, but yeah that 135 is just too sweet to mess with!

Hey Robb, you got one? Awesome!!!
I do love that lens, I used it for portraits for years until I started using it for cars and was amazed at the results. I use the extender when needed but I do have the 70-200 f/2.8 but I left it behind yesterday so I improvised with the 1.4.

Very cool, thanks, can't wait. I'd rather wait for the write up and make sure I get everything right the first time. Especially when dealing with brakes. Can you link to the ebay seller perhaps? tried running a search but came up with a bunch of random sticker/vinyl guys.

looking killer. ill tell you the brakes are alot nicer than the stock 11's. during some spirited driving my 11's felt like gummy bears and the brembos have been alot nicer. How long did your bleeding take? mine took forever. those brembos are just so much bigger than stock!

I fell bad to say that I still never drive hard enough to see the difference. I've had them on the car for a week and I only put 2.3 miles on my car and the highest speed I went was 25 mph, lol
I've been getting a lot of comments on the color though... Even from people that I don't even think they know what brakes are, haha.
I'm heading into the garage now to do the rears, hopefully they go as smoothly as the fronts. The bleeding on the fronts took a long time and I still think I need to do them again. I think when you do a full re-build every little pocket in the caliper needs to be filled and it takes forever to get all the air out. I didn't have to re-build the rears so hopefully I won't have as much trouble.
I'm also still on stock fluid so I think maybe next week after I break the calipers and pads in I will do a full fluid change so I can make sure I have all new fluid pushing through the calipers.

Yupp, Still staying stock on the inside. It's been running flawlessly and the clutch and transmission are more then happy with the power. I feel the power level that I'm at is a perfect combo for as much horse power I want vs. what the car can handle on a daily basis for a log time.
Cheers!

Really worth it, it's about 7 hours from me too!
If you just want a high number, don't go there. There are plenty of shops, tuners, and internet map makers that will squeeze more power out of your car but if you just want a super solid tune that will use all of your components properly, definitely make an appointment with them.

Chris is an awesome guy and an even better tuner!

Also my real question was aren't the numbers from the mustang dyno a bit less than the actual numbers? I am a noob to tuning and this forum so...

In a simple answer it could be like this:

My car was dyno'd at 300 HP/340 TQ on a mustang dyno at EFI. I could have went to another mustang dyno the same day at a different shop and got 303 HP/345 TQ. The mustang dyno's can be considered the most accurate of them all in terms of how close they are to the actual power of the car but can vary for shop to shop.
Being said I could have gone on a dynojet the same day and got 325 HP/370TQ or logged the dyno pull on my AP and went on virtual dyno software and get 340HP/380TQ. The other dynos can read up to 10% higher than a Mustang.
They are all just numbers and at first all I cared about was the number but you find a tuner that respects you and your car and takes in your consideration when doing the tune. I'm happy with the numbers I got but more happy with the type of tune I got.

So to finalize, I would take most Mustang dyno numbers as true to the real thing as you can get. There will be much debate on this but that is my humble opinion on the dyno talk.

Cheers!

- Jason

The rears are done!!
Started this project in March and finally finished in June.

Super happy with the brakes and as soon as I get some weather besides pouring rain I'll take some new shots. For now, here is a quick shot of the rears.

I am usually not one for ball washing, but I have you tell you your car is awesome. Super tasteful mods, great write-ups.

I'll be cruising down the coast of Maine next weekend. I'll keep an eye out for you!

There are a lot of different setups that all work about the same for our cars. The intake is really just a noise maker for me but doesn't do much over the stock intake if you are under 400hp. I went with the Cobb for the OEM look and fitment. There are about 15 other ones that will do the same job but the Cobb and AEM are the only 2 that the Cobb AP has maps for. A Perrin intake will have a map but you'll need to purchase that extra from Perrin.

I would think about the real reason you want one. If it's just for the louder BPV and intake sound. I'd get one only if you have the spare money for it. If you are looking just for more power, the intake will be one of the worst values for the money in terms of more HP. I'd work on the exhaust side of the motor first (header, up pipe, down pipe, exhaust)
