My .02 if they cut on intermittently this is not a fuse issue, but could still be a relay issue. If a fuse pops... it's popped "over an out". However switches and relays can be intermittent. Here's a link to an '02 headlight wiring diagram... I would assume if it's not 100% applicable it's a darn good start... http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthread.php?t=752584

I just wasnt getting any power to the fuses so that seems to be the issue. Ive been search and the wiring diagrams are pretty close to the same.

Took the fuse box apart completely and found no issues, basically im in the same boat as yesterday and am slowly starting to believe the switch to be the issue... Ive swapped relay's under the hood so those are proven good on another circuit just the under glove box relay(s) need to be checked.

I do have a broke wire on the DRL connector that I disconnected(black/white stripe on the end of the connector) but I dont see that being an issue...

I will be swapping relays/switch tonight if Tattoo let me but beer and my help with his car is always a good payment haha

It still could be a grounding issue. When you are checking the fuse for power, what are you using to do so?

Speaking from the sense of being there, it really wasn't an issue. Hell most of the time spent was b.s.'ing more then actual work.

RK has a new Impreza, a few WRXs (red 5d, dark gray 4d) and an STI 4d (black) and we need to move some cars this month. if anybody needs a new car (we have lots of outbacks and foresters as usual) PLEASE give me (or any one of our Subaru team) a chance to get you (or family and friends) into the car you need or want. (and since that whole bird dogging thing is illegal, I cant do much more than offer free stuff or a few after hours free beers for referrals.)

My headlight issues turned out to be a diode that tan from the DRL control unit to the headlight relays as a ground...

DRL control unit still isn't plugged in and the diode is after the splice for ground so shouldn't have been an issue but it was haha!

Man its good to have friends who know and have eletrical tools haha

Thanks for all the help for those of you that contributed...

Haha. Not like we showed up to the track fast or anything?
So you started that motor on your ecu? Or the jdm ecu was in place?

I started it last night with the wrx ecu first to make sure everything worked. After that I put in the JDM ecu and wired in the avcs. I have a second startup video, it is uploading now. I was able to rev it a bit more.

The downpipe is a bit short so I will have to run with that open for a few days. The secind video sounds much better.
