Well normally its just the radar detector and fm transmitter but I have noticed that when Ive got the gps going as well I notice that the fm transmitter gets funky, but no blown fuses, knock on wood.

For the tires? They were free in exchange for about 3hrs of digging to widen my managers driveway

I think if you wanted to be different I would have color matched the headlights. That would look a lot better than random white headlight housings.

Little bit of a long update here

Found this on my doorstep today:

Everything is great except the fitment of the flange from the header to the midpipe, you'd think they would use the same sized flanges. (Looks worse than it is though)

Also think I might PnP (or whatever you would call it in this situation) the pipes that face the exhaust flow, its pretty bad

Was going to get a new spring bolt kit but ... duh ... dont need one now lol.
However, I do want new bolt for the flanges that bolt up to the heads, rockauto does not have these listed. Anyone know where I can get these?

Also there are three O2 sensor bungs, I need to plug one. What size plug am I looking for and any suggestions on where to get one?

Got some supplies too;

Thanks to TheGoldenFist for the tip on the paint-able stuff, Ive used the same but spray form and didnt like the coat quality.
So probably coating them tomorrow

Gotta so some math and order wrap and ties as well
Then I can get these bitches installed and get that clogged cat out of there

Hahaha, hey. Sent u a PM over at M247

...Ok so here we are with pics

Noticed that much of the fitment problem at the header outlet/HFCP inlet was due to the 2.5" piping at the inlet sticking past the flange and hitting the smaller flange at the outlet of the header

So I filled the gap with metal filler and then ground it down

Then I painted it with High Temp paint after prepping the surface with a scotch brite

And started the headers
First I filled the gaps with metal filler and ground the pipe edges down a bit

Then added liberal amounts of metal filler and let er dry

Then ground it all to a smooth angle

Not sure how the metal filler is going to hold up to the high temps but it is supposed to harden to metal strength, I mean this stuff was just as tough to grind down as the metal was. Anyway it was better than leaving it and worth the try to see what happens.

Ill paint the headers tomorrow probably and order wrap later tonight

Last Little update before bed:

Regretting not taking as much time to scuff the surface of the header before painting, as I was taking it off the hanger the hooked aprt snapped from me spinning it earlier as I was painting it ... my thumb grabbed part of the painted area to keep it from falling and slipped a big spot of paint right off

Maybe Ill see how much I can force off and re-do them while I wait for the wrap to get here ... *shakes head at stupid-ness of cutting corners*

Quick test fit with the paint dired for a couple days and wow such a better fit. Not sure why they thought it was ok to send the pipe/flange out like that but w/e

And the whole shot

The coins thing is pretty funny.

Suprisingly, I like your CF wrap on the interior (I don't usually like CF-look stuff). The white headlights are also a nice touch, too many people paint them black (not just Subaru owners we're talking about either).

That blows! Just and FYI if you source used RBP replacement parts 2004 and 2005 are 2 different colors. The 2005 has a bit of a dark tint to it.

Hey thanks for the heads up
Im really quite bummed right now, egg all over my face. This is what happens when you try to show off in front of coworkers and a mailbox gets in your way.

Trying to source a new fender seems like its going to be a tall order too

Simply got the wheels spinning and got it a bit sideways around the parking lot as it wraps around the store, over-corrected too much and swiped the 4x4 holding the mailbox. Splintered the 4x4, actually surprised there isnt more damage.

The damage sucks but this makes me jealous in a way. I settled for a low mileage RS in automatic and definitely get mine to break loose unless its snow or gravel. I'm actually picking up an 02 bug eye in 5 speed to have fun with.

here's mine
