Default 2.5rs wrx sti conversion

I have a 03 2.5rs and im thinking of doing a sti conversion on it. Can anyone tell me or give me pointers into if its a good idea and how much it would be to do it.

I would use a WRX body harness and do a JDM swap, but that is me. The 32 bit US system requires you to swap every little thing.

im at the tail end of my conversion...02 2.5rs into a full 100% STI.. 05 drivetrain and 06' everything else.. heres the thread

you will get all the info you need in there!

to answer your questions.. good or bad idea is up to you.. are you willing to put in a TON of time swapping out every wire in the entire car? every nut and bolt? every module, relay, sensor? gas tank? there is a multitude of things different on an STI... just about every component in the car. there are ways to do partial swaps that are cheaper, and easier. but come with sacrifices.

as for cost.. it can range anywhere from about $8k - $12k for all the OEM parts youll need.. then the extras youd wanna add in there as well.
