My rom id is A4TC300L. Does anyone know if the patch for the A4TC400L will work? Or does he just not have a patch for that particular rom id?

1. First you MUST MUST go to http://www.scoobypedia.co.uk/index.p...ilityList#toc2 and download the A4TC400L base map. 2. Make sure you have the rom that is on your car now saved somewhere or else you're going to be screwed in a minute. Once you download the A4TC400L basemap, go try and flash it to your car. 3. If it flashes to your to your car with out any error's, great, you can now use this map and the patch for it. The only pain about this is transferring all of your old map data to the new A4TC400L map. It really doesn't take that long. 4. After verifying it flashes and transferring all of your old map data to the A4TC400L map you can now patch it with tinywrexs patch and flash it! I am not responsible if you mess anything on your car/ecu up. |

Man that wiki is odd.. The file name for the AH580 is "07 Outlander" which is a Mitsubishi SUV?
I love the mechanic's notes on my ECU install: Quote:
... Makes me really wonder what ECU/ROM combo I've got.. ;p |

Had been fighting with the LC all afternoon. In the end it was the Speed Limiting (Fuel cut). If all the values are the same the LC wont work lol.

Having some qualms with the Tinywrx patch. I set the MPH to 5 and my deltra rpm to 2300, that would put me around 5k with the stock rev limit. Flashed the map and it doesn't engage. Any ideas?

Ok, after searching on multiple forums, including NASIOC, I can't seem to find much information about the error I'm getting.
So, I've renamed my ROM as A4SGC00C.hex and converted it 192kb, but when I try to apply the patch, it gives me the error: ERROR: Source file is corrupt at byte 0x1fef0 (0xff expected, 0x3b found)!! I've checked the ROM ID in ECUFlash and it matches (A4SGC001), the rom had previously been tuned by Vishnu, but it does not seem to be locked because I can still edit values. The file can be opened in ECUFlash without a problem, but when I try to open it in RomRaider, I get the error: "Error - Data Mismatch Table: Catalyst Readiness Threshold Fix B Table editing has been disabled". I suspect this may be the cause of the error, in which case does anyone know a way around it? Would it be ok to flash a stock rom and simply change all of the values over? Thanks. |

First hit on a Google search:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2090393 And yeah they mention going with a stock and pasting over it with the tuner values. |

Yeah I read that thread earlier today, but it didn't offer a more direct solution, looks like redoing the map is the only way. I was hoping I can just unlock the disabled tables for the catalyst threasholds.

For anyone else experiencing a similar problem, copying the tables over to a stock rom is the way to go. Stock roms for each ECU ID is available on the RomRaider forum.
Use the "Compare Roms" option in RomRaider to check which tables are different, copy all of the values over to the stock ROM and then save the rom. Use "Compare Roms" again to make sure you copied everything over correctly. It might just be my imagination, but it seems like after adding LC, the car's low end response has improved, even when I'm just easing off from a stop. |

Ahhh people notice motor changes from the most unrelated tweaks, it's nothing to get too concerned over as long as you know what the LC changed and that it's actually impossible for it to alter the responsiveness.
This isn't the thread to point this out in but your mileage with 'Stage II' as a description of your car mods might not be that ideal on these forums. Either people will assume you've done more than you have, assume you've done less than you have, or just outright think you've done something wrong since you're still listing your mods as 'stages'. Best to list your key mods in a blurb or save them for the dyno plot posts. |

Hello Friends NASIOC, I have a Subaru Impreza USDM WRX which I am looking to charge my ecu the Launch Control 16 Bit.
I use the Tactrix 2.0 with Ecuflash, The steps still do not know very well but if you know some tutorial would serve me a great help. I'm making a map for Stage 2, but still can not find the Launch Control to patch it to my ecuflash. Engine: EJ205AW3B9 ECU: A4SG900C If you know any website where I can download?. Thank you. Best regards. |

'The thread is too many pages for the value of the info. If someone could spell it out for me so I don't have to read/learn that would be great.' No disrespect, clearly this forum isn't your primary language, and it's a lot of reading for anyone, but this thread/forum has most of your answers. This may help too: http://www.ecu-mods.com/LC_instructions.zip |

I patched it in to a stock 05wrx map and then used compare maps and copied everything from my tune over and then saved it as a new file.
Was simple and easy. Edit. Also i kept my file at 160kb and everything works as it should. I set it to 4500rpm but may bump it up to 5k rpm Last edited by cosseywrx; 05-13-2013 at 10:56 PM. |
