Sorry for this noob question but what does the yellow overlay accomplish on the fogs? Does it have a purpose or is it for looks?

Cosmetic. Some people say it helps with your vision though.

Short and to the point:
Its for looks but depending who you talk to, supposably the yellow is not as reflective against the fog as the "white oem"light is. There for with the yellow light your supposed to see better in foggy conditions.

Stock fog lights are worthless anyway.. so I don't know how making them yellow would help anything. I think they're just for looks.

Hey everybody,

I've been lurking in the shadows for awhile but decided to step into the light and join the conversation. My name is Devon I've had my 2.5i for just about a year. I've done some small stuff to it but plan to much more. I'm a huge rally fan so thats definitely what I'm going for as far as a look and feel. Let me know what you think!

Upgrades and additions:
- 19mm RSB
- Flaps
- STI tranny mount
- Beatrush Poly cross member bushing
- Beatrush Pitch stop
- Perrin Front & rear shift bushings
- Perrin ST adapter
- WC lathe works shifter extension and custom shift knob ( great stuff )
- Sony double din HU
- Rally prepped skid plate and rear diff guard
- '04 STI wheels

At the dealer

As she sits now

i could of used the stock 2.5i ones but the parts i bought came with calipers and brackets the rotors arent thicker they are just bigger.

the bracket was what i needed to fit the rotors i have the pads and calipers from the the 2.5i would of worked but i decided against it for whatever reason haha

Theoutbackdream- I drilled 3 holes in the middle portion of the bumper and 2 on the inside of each fender. The 3 main holes were bolted on whereas the side ones my brother helped me rivet them on.

Thanks for the feedback, this just verifies my research hah. Looks like I'll be buying some brackets pretty soon then

I'm curious about how much the major service intervals are costing other folks.... I'm located in Eastern Canada, and my 48,000 km service cost a whopping $700 (3.7 hours labour, parts, taxes). What are other peoples experiences?

Let us know how the lower brace fits. I know the Subaru one for the WRX will not fit due to the exhaust routing, so I'd be very interested in finding one that works.

Can I get an opinion from you guys? Should I paint the 3rd brake light red to match the tails or leave it clear?

Thanks.
