Took my 04 wrx auto Stage2 to get opensource tuned at P&L Motorsports about a month ago. Had a leak in the BPV so they had to fix that before it could be tuned. Ended up going with a turboxs 100% recirc. Also Had them install a grimspeed boost controller. So before I got the tune I Checked out injectors and seen that the stock ones were still in. Well Unfortunately I filled up with 93oct right before I got there. They figured out that the car had stock injectors but had been cut to 750CC. Didnt look yet but the tuner told me that it probably has the fuel pump to match the injectors. Sooooo. I could have went with an E85 tune after all.
oh well. Final Numbers were 232 AWHP and 234 TQ ![]()

hopefully the next upgrade is a good set of subs and a nice amp. maybe some tint. we shall see. I liked the rockford fosgate he2 12s I had in my gtp. I believe I had a fosgate amp to match it. I've been out of the loop for audio for a while. does anyone have any input on something that's punchy but low. I listen to alot of metal/rock

I'd say go with some 10's. They have faster response for the kick drum in metal/rock. I listen to a lot of fast hardcore/punk, rock, and a bit of metal. And constantly adjusting the eq in my car.
If it was my car, I'd say put the system on the back burner and throw on a larger turbo. |
