Yeah my old GTI had a way better interior and noise deadening lol. I wouldn't go back but you really can't compare

had a guy at a light ask me if my 08 is a 2012 yesterday. i guess it still looks good for 4 1/2 years old.tells me his buddy has a g35 with 600 hp. light turned green, that was enough.

Guy I know bought a '98 RS with STI swap, front mount, big turbo, etc. He said he's making 500hp at the wheels on 8 psi "which is pretty good for a 4 cylinder".

My WRX is at stage 2 pushing 17.5 psi making under 300hp and somehow able to beat him in a race. I LOLed.

Was in a 65 malibu and the guy said that it had 500hp like that RSti guy, i was thinking he was going to be lying or exaggerating like most bros but he started doing some "spirited driving" safe to say it put a kind of fear into me.

Too many people lie about that ****. I remember I had a friend with a thunderbird with a 5.0 who made that claim and my stock 2003 350z which was having serious electrical issues and was always on the verge of dying at the time seemed faster. CSB?

Got my car back and let my dad take it for a spin.

Did a short pull and heard the by pass valve go off.
"Oh **** I think I broke it!"
I said:
"No dad, that's normal, it's the by pass valve from the turbo."

The car was running extremely rich and was bogging and later found out someone didn't tighten the hose, so it popped off under boost.
"Oh **** I broke it!"

No harm done, daddio other than getting 6 mpg cruising because someone didn't tighten the clamp on the hose.

Wow.... do they even make Datsuns anymore? I know they were planned to be brought back at some point in the near future under Nissan... but still...

And yes he could've told you that... I've had a couple of officers let me off a ticket for going (reasonably - not ridiculously) over the speed limit and say things like "Alright, since you were honest with me, and it wasn't ridiculous, could you do me a favor and keep this nice car under 75? You have a nice day, sir."....

I've also had officers GIVE me tickets and still say nice things about my car - it doesn't make the ticket much better, but at least I get to hear something nice out of them.

I'm amazed by all the conversations at stop lights you folks have. I've never been party to such an event. If I see someone with their windows down here they are either insane or have broken AC's.
