Default adding lumbar support to driver's seat

Has anyone pulled apart the seats in the 2012 Impreza? I am planning on adding a lumbar pad or bladder to the seat back.

Possibly looking at this: http://www.sportsimportsltd.com/univ...r-support.html

Thanks

Ive done it to fix the seat squeak. Easy way to do it is to put a small pillow, or foam padding under neath the spring that is in the seat. Takes about 5 minutes to do. Opening the seat is just 2 zippers on the side of the seat back.

Are you describing how to fix the squeak, to add lumbar support, or both?

I pulled the seats apart to fix squeak, and at the same time found out a good way to install lumbar support (underneath the seat spring)

...so yes...

refer to my other thread for squeak fix

Ill give that a shot! Didn't realize it would be that easy.

Thanks

I did this tonight since I found the lumbar support lacking. I used a little removable pillow that comes with obus forme back rests that I had lying around and slid it up between the springs and the foam in the seat back. It definitely helped, and I was able to adjust it while sitting in the seat by reaching back (before zipping up the seat, obviously). I'll know for sure how much it helped on my commute tomorrow, but if it's not enough I'll just find something beefier to put under there. Super easy, thanks tornado!
