Very cool. Looks good and I'm tempted to do the same. I had thought your car was OBP for some reason.

To be honest unless you are in sunshine it is hard to tell the difference. Both are metallic colors. I had my grill painted professionally too.

Its taken me a little while but I finally managed to source a couple shift trim pieces to complete my 6mt sti interior install. I am really happy with the way everything looks and performs. My mods for the car are now done and the plan is to now raise the height a bit, switch over to my 17 x 7 sti rims and get it out to the RAC skidpan for a couple of sundays this month. The Go Pro HD 2 will be used and videos posted.

RAC skidpan was great fun yesterday. Only 9 of us fronted and we got bulk runs on several different configurations over 4 hours. The sound is pretty average on videos because I left the drivers window down. The Foz handles great with DCCDPro running the show with ABS & Traction Control off..plenty of grip achieved and I got pretty good by the end of the day after getting used to the power the TD05-18G produces and the way the 6MT DCCD box performs. Brembos and Project Mu pads worked very well and did not have braking issues at all. I ended up running my 19" rims with S Drives. I did manage to but a couple of flat spots on my S Drive tyres though dohhh. Next time I am going to run and film with the windows up.

New track rims and tyres went on yesterday. I went with some 18 x 8.5 +44 wrapped in Advan Neova AD08 245/45/18 tyres. Very sticky rubber! Also I have a EJ257 Short Motor & Crank being machined in readiness for some Cosworth goodness shortly. Woot roll on 21 psi

I had some more dyno tuning done to the Forester last week to improve the throttle response but keeping the boost 18 psi for now. The results being 290 HP and a significant improvement over the previous 263 HP. The BBK-M TD05-18G really wants 22 psi for optimum results.

The good news is that ASG have just finished my new Cosworth EJ257 short motor and crank assembly. The bad news is they cannot install it for another month dooooh. In the mean time I have started collecting some new supporting mods to go with it. The first lot arrived today from Daniel at Carmods who gave me a great deal on STI pitch mount and engine mounts, Killer B Oil Baffle and Oil Pickup.

Update as it now stands under construction. Its all in the hands of Stechnic now. The guys did a great job of fabricating up a new flexible oil inlet line to the turbo.
I have also ordered a new Innovative Motorsports Air/Fuel Ratio Gauge MTX-L Wideband O2 Digital Air/fuel Ratio Gauge so I can keep a closer eye on proceedings once the new motor is installed. Hoping to be back on the road again in a couple of weeks time.
