It's nice for getting parts below what you would pay at a parts store ect wholesale oil prices too haha. Now if only I could find a wholesale performance supplier for the parts I want.

It's not all nice though some customers we get are just major headaches and only one area of the shop has AC and it was 102 here today

Just doing the oil today emphasized how much a lift would be soooo handy.

Question, can I use a hydraulic jack on the front diff case to lift the front of the car and then put jacks under each side of the car or do I need to jack each side, one at a time?

I wouldn't know how I would survive without one lol. You should just get some ramps instead of all this jacking business lol

But if you have to use jacks I don't see why that wouldn't work the first way you described it. Just make sure to do a small shack down of the car before getting under it. This is a sop for the shop

Not recommended. You would be lifting the car by the engine and trans mounts. If you can fit a jack under the car and jack it up from the front cross member, that would be better.

Maybe I should just stick to jacking each side. Thanks for the tips!

Well, I almost killed TAV if he would have been under my car when he told me to start it up. He was Checking for a rattle sound and found it. He car was on two jack stands in the back. He told me to go inside and start the car. I do not put the car in 1st when I park. He does. I didn't check. So when I cranked it the car pulled forward and almost totally off the jack stands.

Had my wife move the car last week. She left it in first too. I went out and started it the next day, scared the hell outta me when it jumped and stalled.

When you get in and out of 20+ cars a week you learn to check that all the time now lol. Actually had a tiny lady bring in her car today and it's one that the seat and steering wheel move in after you start it to the user controlled settings. I felt like I was in a trash compactor. Damn thing almost squished me.

So how are you surviving the tropical storm? Send some of that rain our way. So many stupid wildfires here.

You don't want this rain. For putting out fires, yeah it's great. But we just got dumped on hard the past few days. My whole backyard is swampland now. At least the dogs love it
