You will probably be glad you got that catted dp to cut down on the drone in the car, everyone says that cbe is pretty loud inside the car on the hatches not so much on sedans.

I have heard that before, I'm actually really nervous about the exhaust being too loud. We will see.

If anything throw a resonator or muffler in the midpipe and it will cure it

I'm not a big fan of the Cobb Cbe. The invidia Cbe has burnt titanium tips and has a quad outlet muffler instead of 2 like the Cobb Cbe has. I also was not sure if I was going to go to the stage 2. In February I bought the intake and the access port along with the alcantara shift boot and brake boot.

Anyone have the stage 2 installed on their car? If so, how is the gain? Do you like it.

Cobb has one of the best sounding exhausts imo. Are you looking for the quad/dual exit? I'm a bigger fan of the single exit and I was making 218 awhp and 260 awtq after installing a catted tbe on a mustang dyno (100+ degrees outside).

i honestly like my no cats, 80mm straight mandrel bend, twin tip straight pipes.
i like race car sounds. and it doesnt drone on the hwy for me

my car has been catless for years and my car only 'smells' when the tune is 'off' and it is too rich

i smell the hot rotella sometimes ....but that is just the way that is

and if inspection is an issue....I shortcircuited THAT by buying a 'shorty' dp that you can put the stock last cat on for inspection and put the test pipe back in....takes about 30 minutes to swap in and out

I agree, I love good loud scoobs as much as the next guy, but will it be raspy? Who knows, I haven't heard of anyone with the same set up as me.

I chose the Cobb down pipe because the cat and because it will protect against over boosting the best because of the accesport map I will use. Plus I have heard from other threads that it is one of the only down pipes that will pass emissions.

I had the sniffer test done on my 95 impreza since it is obd1 and it has a 03 Wrx swap and had a fully Catless exhaust and passed with flying colors on that part

Check out SSP heard great things and they do Cobb ap tunes they are a authorized Cobb tuners. Jtran varies depends on who you ask but that pretty much goes for any tuner

i would think about wrapping ur downpipe. doesnt look the greatest but it keeps the heat in ur tubes and not ur bay.

Jtran, engine logics, there are several good shops around town, averaging $95 an hour. Do it yourself or find someone with experience if you want to save money. I do all my own work, and for others also.
