Default Do I need injectors to support VF35 upgrade

Hi all,

I'm currently thinking of gettting a VF35 turbo upgrade for my 2007 JDM 2.0l (auto) WRX. Would getting new injectors, such as those from 2.5l WRX's or STI's be absolutely critical? Or would I be ok using the stock injectors already in my car?

Thanks alot!

Im not sure of the size of the stock jdm injectors on the 2.0 for that year. But im guessing at stock boost levels it would be fine

If you use stock injectors you will blow the motor. All turbo upgrades need bigger injectors. Call your tuner and ask him.

Ask your tuner as to which size injectors you will need

General rule of thumb is when upgrading the turbo you gotta upgrade the injectors, people even upgrade the injectors with a stock turbo (wrx and sti's) to get more out of their stage 2 setup and to set themselves up for a larger turbo down the road

You will also need to replace your fuel pump to a higher flowing one to accommodate the increased flow of the injectors, again ask your tuner about this

Definitely do that. But I saw this one on youtube with the VF35 it doesnt say anything about upgraded injectors. Then again its only making 250wheel but im guessing its tuned

This is a stock 2.0 litre with Rocket Rally's Up and Down Pipes, STi cat-back, V7 Top-mount, APS 65mm intake, and a Perrin turbo inlet, plus a few miscellaneous items. Nowhere near as much torque as a 2.5L, but lots of fun!

I wouldn't trust YouTube with my vehicle... Ask someone who knows or has the setup you desire.

i posted this in your other thread

if you really have a jdm wrx then you already have a vf35.....and if you already have one then you already have the proper injectors for it
