^ Very nice. I like when people actually get a wide tire for their wide wheels.

im installing these next weekend, and epic has told me i do not need a spring compressor to install. did anyone use a spring compressor? i was under the impression that the spring needed to be compressed so it doesnt kill you when you take off the strut mount..lol

Sorry, I said that you "can" install them without a spring compression. There is pre-tension on this setup and improper disassembly can cause serious damage to yourself and the components.

If you do not know what you are doing. I will have to suggest you take it to a trained Subaru technician.

Finally have my springs on and definitely worth it. Perfect drop to keeping it functional for daily driving. Goes over bumps like stock and handles definitely better.

Hey do these springs make the car sit level or do they make the back lower then the front? I'm interested in buying springs soon and want my car to sit level

Only two bumpstops is correct. They're for the rear.

It makes the wheelgap even front and back; gives the car a little more rake.

I put mine on over the weekend. I DEFINITELY NEEDED a spring compressor to get them on. Unless you have a 400 lb friend, just get a rental spring compressor set from Pep Boys for free. That's right, free!

There were only rear bumpstops, like the above poster had asked. Re-use the fronts. The stance is obviously better and the car actually rolls less than before, which is an added bonus. If I can get 30k miles or so on the stock struts, I'd be thrilled. Although, I may end up putting Koni's in before then. Good job Epic Engineering!

BTW - I'm not ashamed to say this took my capable self and friend a full day with 2 home depot and pep boys runs for spring compressors and a replacement tophhat bolt/nut and endlink bolt/nut. The tophat bolt sheared off way too easily, had to drill it out. The endlink bolt stripped and we had to cut it off since the nut wouldn't back out.

Here is a really poor picture of the stance. Car was mid-wax and detail. So far, so good.

Dan - How soon should I get an alignment with the new springs on stock struts?

Looks good. I installed my springs/wheels/tires and did an alignment all at the same time and I never had uneven tire wear, but if you're really worried about it, I would wait a week.

^^ Nice! My springs settled after a couple hundred miles. The stance is nice and even and definitely a bit lower than when they first went on. On stock struts? Getting an alignment?

Maxed the chamber bolts for neg chamber. Still need to get my toe fixed. I'm just lazy. Plus the quicker my tires wear out the quicker I can upgrade to 18s

How's the ride with the Konis and what do you have yours set at? I've had the Epic springs for a little over 2 years and I'm picking up Konis in a couple months.

Set at half firm and it's fine for me. I had it at full firm for a while and the wife complained it was bouncy, but was still very DD'able IMO.

I haven't tried Full Soft.

Since I had plenty of run out and no cars around, I took an 4 lane "T" way too hot at 90 degrees this morning (~50ish). It pushed but I got some on-axis rotation, pretty groovy

Looking for a customer with a BRZ that would be interested in a free set of springs.
We do not need your vehicle. Just feedback.

Got a few more shots after a month of so of riding on the springs. So far, no complaints. Its really tough to get the proper lighting for pictures so that the wheel wells aren't covered by shadows, but you get the idea.

Dan - Do you sell Koni inserts?

BTW - I haven't gotten an alignment yet. I'm sure its a bit out of whack, but the car tracks straight as an arrow and the tires show no signs of uneven wear. Plus, the fact that I'm selling and buying a house doesn't help cash flow

Looks good! And a lower offset would help get rid of those shadows.

Also, I've been PM'ing some vendors for quotes on Konis since I'm in the market as well. I found 2 vendors that are offering some pretty low prices on them. PM me if you want to know which ones.

I can't remember if I ever posted my review of these springs...and I'm bored so I'll do it again.

Anyone on the fence about getting these springs.....DO IT!

I went back and forth about putting lowering springs on my car for almost four years. Even after I bought the springs I waited six months to install them.

I was really concerned that the ride quality was going to really suffer, and I'm old so this was important.

Finally got them installed and I could not be happier! I should have done these years ago.

The ride height is perfect and the ride is hardly a compromise from stock, a little stiffer, but not enough to make an appreciable difference.

Very happy with these springs.

Good job EE!
