We've got a pretty big community here in Knoxville and may make it up for the run. Just make sure that everyone stays between the lines and more importantly, doesn't end up in the ditch this year! lol

I'm not sure who's leading the drives this year (or if there are going to be any organized drives)... Don't think I should lead though... Still feel pretty bad about someone putting their car in a ditch while trying to keep up with me a few years ago

... Don't want that mess happening again (though it probably wont since I'll have the GF with me this year and I don't drive as close to my comfort limit when I have passengers)...

Well well well...June 30th came and went...and we still only have SIX cabins/rooms booked for this.

It is...I really want too, but my situation may be, happening to others as well. It's hard to get time off around holidays. Many have already taken those days to coincide with it.

I believe those who have already reserved their cabins/rooms are locked in at that pricing. Anyone else who calls to reserve will have to pay the regular prices.

Having said that, they've been kind enough to push back the cut off to July 15th.

The other thing that Matt has not mentioned is if we don't reserve cabins now, they might not be there later. There is a group that is going to be there the same time as us, but I got us in before them. They are waiting on us not to reserve so that they can take them. I cannot keep asking for a push out on the date and have no reservations.

Pretty much. Tell them you're with the NASIOC group and we have a set of rooms/cabins booked for that particular weekend.

I have an apartment here in Raleigh that I stay in during the week and still have the condo on Wrightsville Beach that I hit during the weekend.

I left Charlotte a year and a half ago.
