I've discovered that I can usually do just over double the posted speeds, and if I feel crazy and can see around the full corner and know it well, sometimes triple.

Uhh...

But really, being able to see the whole corner... I almost wrecked one time when I was 16 taking a corner too fast and having a car coming the other way, and many other times having a deer standing in the middle of the road. I'm still cautious.

I've hit two, both times were a dusk condition, I was driving the speed limit, both cars were totaled. I think few people hate them more than me.

I got within 5 ft of one with my 2012 wrx 2 days after getting the keys. Dumb thing ran off the road then back onto it in front of me. Sounds like you have had it bad. I've never hit one just come close a bunch. Estes during certain seasons is bad with them.

****ing deer! I was riding IN TOWN and a deer a bit ahead infront of me on my bike. So naturally I glanced around to see if there was another, I didn't see one so I was watching the deer to make sure it didn't run back onto the road. When out of the corner of my eye another deer darts infront of me! No more than 10 feet away from hitting this thing doing 30. Almost had another run in while driving my dads 10 Z06 couple years back, damn them to hell!

anyway..... back to the topic at hand

you know when you drive a WRX/STi when you tell anyone what car you drive and they respond EVERYTIME with "oh, those are fast cars"

When you try and catch up to a debadged WRX to wave, realize it is just an Impreza with a spoiler, and turn your head the other way.

But you still look in your rear-view just to make sure it didn't have a front-mount intercooler.

I dunno, my ranger will kill your back/butt after anything more than a 2 hour drive. The wrx is way more supportive.
