For all those other start up super car makers. THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT. You cannot just slap an LS engine in a light chassis and make a name for yourself. You need to make your car stand out and exude uniqueness. The car must make its price an unquestionable datapoint. The car must be so special, that people do not go 800,000 pounds! THATS CRAZY, they say 800,000 pounds, what a deal.

Koninsegg is better then pagani, and they build there own engines. They don't slap an amg v12 in a carbon fiber body and call it a masterpiece

![]() Uh, have you seen the thought that goes into the Pagani? I'd hardly say it's just an AMG motor slapped in a carbon fiber body. The Koenigsegg quite spectacular as well, but their both great for their own reasons. Last edited by STIdad; 06-30-2012 at 05:03 PM. Reason: spelling fail |

Paganis are masterpieces irregardless of their motor. Have you seen how these cars are made? The ridiculous attention to detail. The perfect weaves of cf matching on every panel, the billet aluminum everything (including the badge), hand built instrument clusters, etc. The AMG motor is awesome, but I think the engineering and design of the rest of the car easily surpasses it. Also, your comment just plain wrong. Koenigseggs started off with Ford Modular V8's. The same basic engine found in a $25k Mustangs that dates back to a 1991 Lincoln Towncar. Newer Kenigseggs used their own design, but was based on that same engine. Like many car manufactures, the don't actually build it either. Grainger & Worrall builds it for them. Back on topic. I loved the Pagani Zonda. It was one of my favorite cars of all time. I was a little disappointing about the looks of the Huayra, but after seeing all the work Pagani has put into it, I think the car is amazing. I would love to work for a place like Pagani someday. |

I agree with you. They didn't even bother with a unique body. I feel the same way with the Saleen, rip off of my favorite car ![]() |

I would kill innocent children and possibly a puppy to simply drive one for a day.

Great Videos. Crazy attention to detail. I'm surprized it doesn't cost more than it does already.

Unfortunately, the majority of these cars are destined for parking lots outside clubs and cruising down main streets of major world cities.

Talk about living the dream. The zonda is one of my favorite cars. To see the detail & design process that Pagani goes through is amazing. Sure it lacks the efficiency of some the German car makers but it seems to give the car it's character.
