Nice job on the turbo kit guys...looks like it was always meant to be there.

Folks moderate power will come in due time. 4psi so what its a start jst wait till we get some rod and piston options first. This is a Direct Injection setup a Subaru/Toyota one a that. This car only needs 300whp tops with the weight it will be a beast of a all round car. I seen one yesterday and I want one now

^If anyone missed it, this article originally said the turbo kit only gained 13HP (over the rated 200HP at the crank). They bashed it for not being worth the effort. Now they've corrected it to state the WHP gains compared to the baseline run.

Are rods available yet? Don't have to split the case to replace them with this engine.

In fact Im pretty sure they have to come out to do the pistons. Just wondering. I think I know whos car it is.... maybe

P&L and Accelerated Performance will have a piston and rod setup within a few weeks.

Someone please correct me for my screwed up reasoning, but in the BRZ thread a few down from this one, they gained almost 20 WHP by just an ecu flash. So taking that into account doesn't adding the turbo only gain you 35ish WHP? (assuming a person who is willing to throw a turbo kit on their car probably has already flashed their ecu) I know that's screwed up thinking, but that's how my mind works I guess.

With good rods and slugs, 15 psi should be cake on a direct injection motor. Plus, DI+turbo+variable valve timing=almost instant boost! Looking forward to results.
