I'm trying to decide between a set of 255/40-17 Victoracers or a set of 235/40-17 Ecsta's, to mount on a set of rims, F: 17x9, R 17x8.5". Yes, they will fit. The original thread is over in motorsports, I know not everbody checks that:
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show...hreadid=349388 What do you think? The 235's would be about 4 lbs lighter each, and about 2.5% smaller in diameter, and would be spread out nicely on the rims. The 255's have a tread width that is probably about 3/4" wider. 9" is still the proper width for the 255's, and 8.5 is okay for the rears. Does anybody think the ecsta's are a far superior tire? Thanks, Kevin |
