Default New Eibach Springs for the BRZ/FT86/FR-S

Just wanted to let everyone know, we just received Eibachs new springs for the BRZ/FT86/FR-S platform and wanted to show some pictures and give some specs. Check it out!!

Whether you're talking about F1, NASCAR, WRC, CART or Indy Car, Eibach regards Motor Sports as the ideal proving ground. The experience they gain at the highest levels of racing is directly converted into the development of the highest-grade chassis components on the planet. And the enthusiasm created by the challenges of motor sports drives them to ever-higher performance-performance that you will enjoy every time you pull out of the pits-or your own garage.

Eibach Pro-Kit Lowering Springs Subaru BRZ 2013 / Scion FR-S 2013

The Eibach Pro-Kit precisely lowers your car's center of gravity, reducing squat during acceleration, body roll in corners and excessive nose-dive under braking. When combined with Plus-1 or Plus-2 wheels and tires, the Eibach Pro-Kit is the finishing touch to a winning recipe for performance. Pro-Kit also reduces excessive fender-well clearance, making your car look just as hot as it performs.

I was JUST looking at these on your site only a few minutes ago before I saw you posted them here. That's awesome! Most people seem to be pretty satisfied with their Pro Kit springs on the current WRX, so I'm excited to see if the general positive vibe keeps up with the BRZ crowd.

Just think of them as jumps.....hahah

As the drop is not huge, they should be OK for most normal city driving with some selective maneuvering into some parking lots.

That's a great price considering bumpstops & boots are included.. along with spring rates.

Any pics of them installed?

I really would like to get rid of the wheel gap but I'm afraid of messing with the handling since it is already a joy.

Look for RaceComp's review of their drop springs and also Scooby South's review of the KW coilovers. Both seem happy with the results, if not happier.

I think the dynamics of the driving experience have more to do with the chassis construction and how various parts compliment it. I've had very little seat time in the BRZ (very little), but from my experience and others the car seems to respond well to modification. We can thank Subaru/Toyota for that.

The package you purchased is just a VERY good starter kit. Everything can be improved upon, depending on what you're going for.

Example: Subaru picked the Primacy tires to allow the car to be a little squirrelly. My personal driving preference would be MORE grip, less prone to slippage. A modification like that won't throw off the car's dynamics/characteristics. They're just a lane switch in Subaru's design philosophy tunnel.

Personally I was checking out the Tein Flex coilovers with the EDFC controller and suspension motor options. Biggest nay with those in my mind would be additional weight.
