Do some do this? ... 4th gear, clutch in rev up go 3rd clutch out, go banshee- WOT!!! That does sound easier but is it better for engine/clutch.
Please do tell
Tell you the truth, I rarely rev match...with awd, I just choose a lower gear and press the go pedal. I let the computer figure out the rest. My 240sx on the other hand, I would try to rev match a little when going through turns...

But this is all street driving, I don't push cars hard on the street for fear of crashing into others or people crashing into me.

Track is different.

I love the way the hatchback looks, from outback to the 2011 wrx hatch above. I'm extremely happy with that fact that my baby is a hatch and it makes me proud to know others love the style as well. AZhatch I hope when you move down you can get together with some of us; it seems like every Thursday there may be a meet up at the Applebees in Prescott. Hopefully someday you can make it and we can all meet you and your Subie.

I'm excited for Thursday and hope to be meeting many more Subaru enthusiasts such as myself

After pulling the motor/clutch again. I got the clutch aligned better, and it went in fine. Now to just hook it up. I doubt it will be ready by tomorrow, ill have to get a ride. I probably should buy a p.o.s just to have a back up car but there's no room in the driveway. I will have it running, but not legal. still have to transfer title/register it and insure it.

So with lots of reading down I decided that the first mod will be..... the Cobb AP! This just makes sense, you cant build good/safe power if you cant tune or monitor. So any advice or tips would be appreciated.

Yeah I have looked around on nasioc for the last year after I bought my car and I try to limit the amount that I post in threads to avoid being roasted to a crisp lol. But there's a stupid amount of information here just have to be patient and search!

Speaking of idiocracy. When our president says "you didn't build that business yourself" that makes me puke.

Nah I don't watch fox news, cnn, msnbc or any dinosaur media. I think bill oreilly is a neo con amd john Stewart is the king of taking out of context. I pay attention to drudgereport infowars and other media. 90% of all media is owned by 5 people. Obama wrote papers in college praising marxism. http://www.infowars.com/obama-tells-...nt-build-that/ the political differences are clear when you read into peoples past. Obamney wont be any better, romney had the insurance companies come up with his own socialized healthcare. Vot left or right leads us off the same cliff. If the doj wasn't trying so hardto get guns banned with fast and furious, which btw goes all the way up to hillary but eric holder will be the fall guy. I say stick to what made this country great, the constitution and bill of rights.

What color? I have seen a few around.

And just realized I saw a post about where I got the car from...it was from tim's...probably about 90% of the cars up here are from there lol
Mine is dark grey black wheels.

Here's my super sleeper, finally driveable but still lots of bodywork to do. the original turbo legacy drivetrain was bought by the service manager of the prescott dealership at the time. Not sure if it was Tim's back in 93. I took the first test drive today, everything felt solid and went smoothly. Sounds much cleaner than before also. I'm gonna try and hit the scales tomorrow and see if its under 3000lbs.

Heads up for people that drive whitespar there are a decent amount rocks in the road and dirt washed on the road in low corners. I also came across a few boulders in the shoulder that will not be very forgiving.

I'm down for a meet, school starts next week and I got classes Thursday nights so I wont be able to make future Thursday meets. Besides, those applebee sliders were horrible last time. The texas roadhouse has a 7$ - 6oz sirloin steak thats pretty damn good. and the cowgirls working the bar area arent too bad either.... or a drive up to jerome for 1/2 price burgers Wednesdays
