See, we have quite harsh winters here in Michigan, so assisting the less fortunate people with fwd, the tow hook makes for easy on easy off access.

Today some 10 yr old told me he wanted a Mazda just like mine for his first car.

I told him to google WRX and to start saving his allowance

oh yeah they are terrible, try daily driving a higher mileage sti. I can feel every single bump and crack from the lazy construction job. All the states money is going to fix up the s*** hole most people call Detroit, which should just be burned down in the first place.

Chicago was worse, near wher eI used to live there was a road that was literally reduced to rubble and it was the most travelled road in the suburbs. Its been a few years since i've been back there so its probably fixed by now.

Had a 350z with coilovers driving on that I tried to avoid it when i could.

My sister asked me how I liked my new Honda bmx... I was so confused, because I used to bmx in high school but haven't for like 5 years.

Ugg. Don't remind us!

I will say that harsh winters + troy does not compute. Sounds like someone has never spent a winter in the Keweenaw. It doesn't snow in SEMI.

Not really funny but an amusing comment earlier today. Driving through my neighborhood I see a family riding there bikes and hear the kid as I pass, "dad, that's my favorite car."

I got a good one... Went to Gillman (a local subie dealership) to drool a little on the inventory. As usual, a salesman comes out and greets us as we pull up. We wander around and look at a couple cars and wind up in the showroom, (from where you can clearly see my car). He asks all the Q's about everything, answers- 1 kid, 2 dogs...

Him: I think you should look into the wrx wagon
Me: That is what I drove here
Him: Is that what that is?
Me: You should really learn your product line...
Him: That is an old model
Me: Its 9 years old and paid off...

Was driving two girls earlier tonight, and am having the generic "What is this thing?" conversation. Neither of them would listen to what I had to say, and both came to the conclusion that its a go-kart with doors that is going to fall apart around them . Its a well kept 02 wrx.
But to make it better although its not a question or phrase. Later on tonight we were driving down a 2 lane road, when a new mustang gt with tented windows pulls up next to me. I had already been nagged at for going 38 on a 35 road by the girl in the passenger seat. And now a mustang is next to me, who am going 1 below to make her happy revving his engine prompting me to race him. Which made the girls yell at me for 5 minutes about not racing him and how we were all going to die, while he continued to bother me.

Hahaha, that's actually pretty funny. Women... can't live with them... can't kill them.

At least that's how I feel about some women. At least my lady is consistent. She doesn't mind me driving fast (as in a few over the speed limit), but she doesn't like any fast curves/corners.

I once had an idiot at work who talked about how he hated street racing and then proceeded to tell me I should go race my car near the university approximately 10-15 minutes later in the same conversation. I couldn't even hold a straight face and just laughed at him. He was pretty cool about it though - he ended up having a laugh about it too. Funny how people's trains of thoughts work sometimes.

"Did you know those things will clear a six inch log?"

I have 5 3/4" gc.

"the suspension setup..."

I only have 5 3/4" gc. It won't work. Seriously.
**** about my car already.

A fellow sti owner came out to the local hang out spot last night and bro'd down on another sti owner and myself. He walks up and asked which one of us wanted to race. We both decline his offer and then his drunk friends come over and try to egg a race on. He started telling us how his car was built and stuff so we ask what's do to the car and he told us a cobb. My friend asked if it was a cobb map or a custom tune and he gave us a lost puppy look...... flat-billers .

I was randomly given a business card for a garage at the petrol station by a woman who had followed me, heard the car popping and was concerned my engine was going to blow up, she then went on and said she thought it was my alternator However as she was being friendly and trying to be helpful, I thanked her and went on my way.

I was also told by a Passat TDI 130 owner his car was faster than mine because of the torque he has....
