I was planning on doing this soon. I was gonna compare my friend's stock WRX to mine(for struts). Just waiting for springs to come out. Since the Imprezas are lighter, the WRX springs will not give it a proper drop. I contacted H&R, they said the middle to late Aug is their expected date for springs.
If you're looking for coilovers, Cusco is coming out soon also.

The Perrin RSB 3mm difference might not seem much, but it is actually a lot. Plus it's adjustable. So it acts more like 22-24mm.
But, I am happy with my 19mm for now.

Now that I have retrofitted my lights, I would like to swap out the turn signals and that light arc above the turn signals with some LEDs or something, there should be 3 bulbs to replace (I'm open to suggestions). The HIDs makes the halogens look really yellow.

Nice job! Looks very clean as if it came from the factory like that. Do you have a picture of the cutoff?

Please share the parts you had to buy, the prices, and the installation process, if you have the time.

i looked through your thread, saw them listed, but not any pics.

Did you make your own bracket and harness? Did you have to remove the grill to install them?

In the first post of the thread, there is a link to my photobucket album. There are pictures there. I thought I had more pictures...probably still on my camera. I'll have to take a look when I get home. I used existing bolts and holes to mount them. I used the supplied relay and ran my own wires. I removed the bumper for ease of installation. Here is a shot of them behind the bumper:

I actually don't have one on hand, I'll try to take a couple next time. It's not perfect though , I tried adjusting the projectors as best as I could. The right projector is actually maxed out as far as adjustments go (it doesn't help that the adjustment bolt is in a horrible hard to reach location even with a flexisnake).

Is it more a matter of installing the projector housing inside the headlight to get the cutoff as close as possible? Is there a way to shim the projector to get more adjustment?

I ordered everything from the retrofit source, I got the Bi-xenon Morimoto Mini Stage III Kit (D2S) with Matsu****a Gen V Ballasts (it was a special request, the gen v bolts directly to the housings for a perfect OEM fitment). The whole process took a week (on and off though) a buddy had helped me with the whole process, including the painting/blacking out of lights. We had just followed the pdf guide on the retrofit source. Hope that helps answer your question, if not I can go into more detail if you have any more questions.

There really is no way of knowing where to position the projectors inside the headlight beforehand unless you get one of the Morimoto Retro-Quik System kits, as there are mounting brackets and hardware to ensure the projectors are installed flush on (except they don't have this for our cars). I adjusted them one at a time and marked the hotspot for one of the projectors and then I tried to get the other projector's hotspot to lineup properly and overlap. I think it would be a lot better if I did adjustments for both at the same time, except the bolt is in a really hard to reach position by the chassis and air box on the right side and the chassis and battery on the left.

I guess the only way to get more adjustment would be to have it lined up more beforehand or adjust them both at once.

You're welcome. I like what you're doing. Any real performance gains other than throttle response with the new intake piping? I have the same sort of path in mind for my Impreza. My mod list includes RA mudflaps (red), Perrin RSB and front tower strut, axle-back exhaust, and Perrin light-weight crank pulley. I've already installed '11 STI rims/tires and have 20% tint all around.

Nice...'11 Sti rims...I'd like to see a pic of them on your car! In terms of performance the ECM flash made the biggest difference. Throttle response is a bit crisper with the intake tube. I plan on getting the RA mudflaps as well, 22mm front and rear sway bars with Kartboy endlinks. I'm going to far up my own axleback exhaust, did the muffler delete, it sounds good but it's lacking something. Supposedly if our ECM's are made by Denso, we might be able to tune the car via opensource and a tactrix cable. Ecutek wanted me to take a picture of the ECM to confirm.

Nice. So far I haven't been able to take pictures of my car. I like the muffler delete but with the pre cut section in the bumper, I too would think something was missing. This is my first car and first modification opportunity. So, I don't fully understand the ecu flash and all that goes along with it. Would you mind explaining it? Is it a diy job or more difficult? Thank you much.

Please describe the performance gain from the ECM flash. Low end torque? Or would that require a turbo? And what was the price?
