He's taking about a larger diameter though. So Speedo will be a little off, car might feel a bit slower, and you won't be able to lower it as much.

its basically taking a sidewall that is slightly taller than stock and wrapping it around a wheel that is 1" larger ftl

Wasn't even paying attention. Yes, definitely do not recommend 245/45 with 18" wheels and drop springs. 245/40 would be fine.

Rotas are heavy, but you'll really enjoy the grip that wider wheels and tires give you. The stance is excellent-looking.

Speedo will barely be off when comparing 235/45R17 with 245/40R18.

Got it. Went a re-read the question. Realized he asked if anyone has used 245/45R18 because that's what's on the wheels he wants, plus he wants to lower the car. I was not reading that correctly at all. haha My bad.

Man, that doesn't sound like fun to ride on.

What exhaust is this. It happens to me with the Perrin stealth, so I just took it to the shop an got every fitting welded problem solved!

Take a WILD guess........... Perrin my friend . I have the Quad tip exhaust. If you wouldn't mind is there any way you could get some good pics of how you had it fixed so I can show my guy?
