Hi NASIOC, I'm new here from New York and currently not a Subie owner yet but still looking for one. My past few rides were a lowered first gen Scion xB, and a 02 Mini Cooper. Looking to get into a bugeye wagon but any clean WRX that I see I'm gonna pick up. Hope I get a warm welcome

I'm in Mahopac, NY. I've been researching for atleast a year and a half now I've always wanted a bugeye wagon so hopefully I can get one.

Expand your searches to include states around you, then if you find a good one, fly out and drive it home.

I flew a few hundred miles away and saved a ton of money when I bought my car. Great fun flying on a one way ticket then roadtripping home!

Welcome! I'm from Brooklyn, NY, also a new subie owner. It is my 2nd car, and I am enjoying the fun out of it more than my RX7! I'd recommend going to some subie meets, some people might be selling their car =)

Bumping this thread because I finally got my wagon!! It's an '03 Wagon that has 83k miles on it, the body is a little dented and scratched up because the previous owner parked it in the street in Brooklyn, NY for 4 years but I got a very good deal on it plus my brother owns a body shop so it's already parked inside waiting to get body work and paint.

Hopefully all of us NY guys can meet up at a meet or something one of these days. And yeah man I can't wait until this thing is done an entire respray with body work is getting done, along with painting the stock sideskirts and hopefully tinting the windows. Too bad it won't be on the road until around Thanksgiving time, but it'll be worth it. Then it's time to start saving for some mods

Me too! Just ordered a Khaki Crosstrek yesterday.

Let us know when your car is done at the body shop so I can keep an eye out for you around town and I'll let you know when mine (finally) arrives. If you spot an 06 Outback (blue) with two Thule sidearm racks on the roof that's my wife.

I'm mostly away at school now but I'm only an hour away, but once I'm back in town with the WRX I'm sure you'll see me around. There's so many WRX's running around now, it's hard to keep up with them all
