Does any one have 521's in all gold or different color that is World rally blue?? I have mine white right now but want to Chang it up a bit.. They are 17x10. 521's

can you guys tell me if xxr527's 17x9.75 +25mm offset will clear the brembos on 04 sti? also with 245/40 tires, will it give the tires a stretched look? and how far will they stick out past the fenders, if at all any? thanks guys

Well.. I know the answer to one of your questions... for the stretch look, you want 225/40 with 9.75 wheels. That will give you a nice stretch. Just know that when you will be stretching the tire, you will look like this

but in the end you'll be happy with the look

Well I think so ha. Guy I bought them from said they are 521's??
they say 17x10 can't really see what the ET is. And there dual drilled. Been trying to find out what they really are because I asked XXR and they don't make 17x10 521's.

how low are you, i wouldnt do a 225 series tire on a 9.75, ever. it would be way to stretched for me, but like i said how low are you.. i have a 245 on a 9" and it is a little stretched... +25 offset will stick out pretty good especially with a 9.75 wheel.. prolly an inch or so..

I'm doing a 235 on a 9 and I don't like the stretch. I wish I had gone with a 245 or even 255.

245 is perfect imho for a 9" a 255 might be good too, but it would have more tire, so more chance of having a roll over issues

Well I want the stretched look, but don't an extreme stretched look, just didn't know how stretched a 245 would look, if at all. So +25 would be to much huh, I don't want them sticking out to far, so a +35mm should be better? Or +41? I want them to be flush. Right now I'm having the issue of getting my car lower so it's flush in the wheel well lol

well a +35 is a good size, you will need some camber to avoid rubbing, but it will be flush. i have +42 wheels and the are inside the wheel well, by like centimeter. a 245 would be a good look on a 9.75, but honestly id go 255, but i tend to like my tires a little more meatier.

If you want flush you would be better with the 8.75 with a + 35 offset or If you want to be hellaflush get the 9.75. I have the 8.75 with a +35 offset and I am sitting flush with little negative camber and all fenders rolled. 9.75 you will have to run a decent amount of negative camber and roll all the fenders with possibly some pulling as well

That's what I'm going with next I think. Maybe some federal 595RS-R in 235 or 245 next summer.

Just rememeber they run wide

you should look into the hankook evo' s I run them and have loved them so far

Yeah that's why I'm considering the 235s. I'm not the biggest fan of hankook, but I'd be willing to try them again. I'm really liking these potenza RE960 sports

Adjust to whatever is suitable. Full negative worked for me.

Run a 235/40 because a 225 is going to be a lot of stretch and won't fill in the fender wells and give as much of a flush look. Also remember certain tires run wide. Federals are known to run a size bigger

Right but there are also other tires besides federal that run wide though. You just have to search or ask if a certain brand runs wide once you determine which brand of tire you want
