Are the Swaybar Bushings the same as Stabilizer End Links? A local shop told me that both needed to be replaced, and of course want to charge me $300 to do it. I'm sure I can do it myself, but am stumped on the terminology. Looking online there are different sites showing the same item, but calling it one or the other. Is it the same thing? Thanks...

They are not the same. In this pic #6 is the swaybar bushing and #10 is the end link.

![]() Bushing is clamped in that brass colored u shaped bracket. Link is at the end of the sway bar,far left bottom of pic. Both are easy DIY's. |
