Event: dyno pull
Location: Drift Office Ambient Temp: 71 f Elevation: sea level Weather: sunny Car: 2003 wrx 127xxx Tuner: Bill + Bob Drift Office Dyno Info: Dyno Jet Transmission: 5spd factory Gear: 3rd Peak HP at RPM: 284 whp @ 6000 rpm (SAE) Peak Torque at RPM: 269 tq @ 4000 rpm (SAE) Baseline hp/tq for a stock on same dyno: I have no honest clue, but my stage 2 wrx did 219hp/219tq in 2009 on this dyno Target Boost: 18.6 psi peak Target AFR: 11.5 Fuel: 91 Engine/Power Modifications: vf22 bosal divorced shorty dp gutted stock mid pipe 3'' boral catback titek up pipe Ebay TMIC modded stock injectors 820cc scaled to 65% DC IIRC WB255 Driveline Modifications: stock clutch and trans Suspension Modifications: perrin sways/ kartboy endlinks Like stated above I had my stage 2 wrx dyno'd on this dyno in 2009 with 219/214 and returned after a turbo install to compare to my baseline. I was able to gain 65 hp and 55 tq from a used vf22 I bought recently from a member here. the graph posted below shows my old stage 2 tune from 09 (yes it was lean, that was corrected after), vs my new tune. Boost holds smoother with the vf22 vs td04. The torque curve is also much better. ![]() here is a video of one pull. sound quality is poor! ![]() Last edited by wrx3r; 08-26-2012 at 11:38 PM. Reason: fat fingers gave me too much boost |
