It wasn't AWD.....Actually I just got done looking up a bunch of stuff on it and I think one place mentioned there an error made with a ballast tank caused by a crew member basically screwing up. Also saw something about a possible rogue wave....but I don't think Nissan made those yet....man I'm hilarious.

I'm only a week or so into my waiting and feel like this will take forever. I'll be happier when I have a month and week for delivery.

It got righted, then towed to Portland Oregon. All the cars were unloaded and crushed.

one hour to until i go to get my 2013 premium wrx . ordered it with short throw shifter turbo boost gauge and turbo heat shield. went in to the dealers this morning and gave them my insurance info and down payment. they are picking up my license plate prepping the car.cant wait now its break in time that will be the hardest part 1000 miles of easy driving the car with out going over 4000 rpm and varying the speed.

Congrats!!! I'm hoping to finalize on one soon as myself. As of now, two options for Limited hatch:
SWP
WRB

Only thing is, the dealer selling the SWP just informed me my intrest rate would be 6.9%!! I'm contacting my bank to see if I can get better.

Stinks the current offers are only for 2012s. Hopefully by October they will have something for the 13s.

September 10 is a possible date for new finance rates on 2013 WRX/STi's. When I was at the dealer today, the rates showed an effective date of 9/5-9/10, indicating changes after 9/10 which I would guess would start to include the WRX. Of course, that's just a guess...

different in every state. In TX it's about a month.

for me my parents cosign i dont have an interest rate yet but i hope its around 4 and not 6

check about joining a local credit union for good auto loan rates. mine offers 60 months @ 2.49%, others in the area are 3.49-3.99%.

All me on my own. I refuse to have a cosigner ever. This is my 3rd car loan. I traded in a 2010 genesis coupe for my wrx n I only had that 6 months before I decided it was cheap junk. Mind you I am 20 years old live on my own n have a salary job at the local factory.

So decided to get a loan from my bank, who got me at 2.9%. With that being said, I'm finally going to be a return subie owner! SWP Limited hatch, eta 10/11.

This is not the right way to build up MAZDA reputation, for me it shows the arrogant, irresponsible and indolence of Mazda of North America. It certainly has a so many and far better ways to save the cars and let people know Mazda, as a "zoom-zoom" car manufacturer, are devoted to their driving experience. Not simply crush the cars with their mighty "our reputations" excuses and close the case. Why don't donate the cars to universities as electric prototypes across the country? Maybe allocate cars to dealerships and start weekend "zoom-zoom" training camp?

Or they did that 6 years ago because Mazda is a Ford? From this random reading tonight, no Mazdas for my family, or my friends, or anyone want a Mazda I will stop them. Mazda NA just don't have the balls to play with the risks, from a view of pure motorsports enthusiast.

Can't imagine if same thing happend to the incoming Sti. But if that's the case, we will see how SOA will do. Another 5 months of waiting?

And they aren't going to mess with ANY liability. If something were to happen to someone in one of those cars that was even completely unrelated to the ship incident, a lawyer would be all over that.

At what point should I expect a VON? And is there any means to track production without pestering the dealer? All I was given was a receipt for my deposit.
