Crutchfield and get the specific harness adaptor. Then wire cap everything together. Plug it in and go

Great way to start my day.........

Driving on route 2 and a huge paving truck in front of me hits a bump and a HUGE glob of tar or something came off of it and was bouncing all over the highway. I swerved to avoid it and it hit my bumper/foglight directly and cracked it in half and scratched my paint.... FML!

Oh and my clutch feels like it is going and it squeaks whenever I push the clutch in. Does that mean I need to tighten my clutch cable or spray it or anything? Never really had many clutch problems so I am fairly unfamiliar with them. Any help would be appreciated.

Going to put my winter car search into overdrive now. I got too many problems with the bugeye so the second I get my winter/commuter car on the road I am putting the bugeye into storage. Sucks but I can't afford to fix the damn thing right now and its one thing after another lately with it. Car hits 10 years old and just wants to **** with me now I guess.

Sue the government! Lol

For the squeak it could be as simple as the joint where the pedal and the push rod meet, or could just be any other joints like the slave cylinder pushing on the fork, or the fork pivoting on the tranny or the bearing moving up and down on the shaft. A squeak doesn't necessarily tell you that your clutch is bad, a bad clutch is when your springs stiffen, start to loose grip especially on high revs, or worse case you can't shift when you depress the clutch. I wouldn't sweat it. Just try lubing the slave to fork joint you might have to remove the slave to actually get between them use bearing grease or white lithium would work decently as bearing grease. And for the pedal use white lithium or silicone spray. Hope this helps :O

Yesterday morning when I left for work I noticed that my oil light was faintly on... I checked the oil and it seemed fine. ( I am concerned because I got in an accident about 2 weeks ago and i dont know if it could be from that although the only things that got replaced were the front bumper, hood, headlights and radiator support) Started driving and it went off. Is this an indication that I need a sensor or that my oil pump is going or something? Is there a way to test it or just wait until it goes?

Usually this means a failed pickup tube, but if that were the case your motor would already be toast.

It could be that your sensor (under the alternator) is making a faulty connection.

The factory oil pressure light is set to come on at 2-3psi. Generally, by the time you see the light, the damage is already done. I call it the new motor needed light.

Squeek when the clutch is in is usually the throwout bearing. Does necessarily mean that its bad as I have seen practically brand new throwout bearings squeek a bit. My 2009 would squeek before it was was 100% warmed up in the morning.

Thanks, So should I see about getting a new sensor first? the light hasn't come back on and like i said it was faintly on for a few minutes. seemed to be running fine and has been since.

I would check the connection and wiring. It's a ground switch, meaning if that wire sees ground the light comes on.

IMO every Subaru should have an aftermarket oil pressure gauge added.

Thanks! I got the oil checked yesterday on my lunch break and they said that it was full... I will continue to keep an eye on it. I wont be in the area again until this weekend since I moved this past weekend.

What dealership do you work at?

That makes sense since everything got a little pushed after the accident. I will get it checked out... and look into an oil pressure gauge and replacing the sensor.

Since moving I either need to find a new place to bring her or just drive far to bring it to the dealership I have been going to.

Thanks again!
