Talked to my dealer today. My STI is still scheduled for mid December delivery

Limited is around 27k if your lucky! w taxes and everything maybe? not sure though.

the prices that he listed are a little off cause i got my base @ 25,568 thats not including tax or anything. dont know how he got those numbers but they are close you can use it as a reference.

yes but they will maybe or maybe not charge you for the service. talk to your dealer maybe he can be a little lineant.

i got to check out the car today. its so pretty i'll post pics up later. i rented a car for $40 drove to evanston. Evan was off and i was supposed to meet him saturday OOPS my fault! anyways signed the papers. parents turn and then i'll go pick it up monday.

i didn't get drive it or anything or look inside cause the guy "forgot the keys" but it didn't bother me. inspecting the outside of the vehicle and it was parked 1 space away from another on both sides. did anyone get those stickers on the back passenger doors?

Really hope my STI gets here a little sooner than November. Ordered mine on Aug 15th at 215pm and have only has a November time frame since, no specific date. But there are alot of ppl getting theirs sooner than expected. Hopefully im just as lucky but wont hold my breath, lol.

Dealer at Evanston Subaru said they will make a car cover but what if it snows like a storm? Even no heavy snow I bet keep a brand new car outdoor is a bad idea after all.

I think its all depends on when I leave and WHEN STI IS HERE.

you cant be serious. its a subaru. you dont need a cover. they'll even clean your car before you get it.

hopefully you storage it or put it in your garage and be on your way with your vacation.

well there it is. i know this winter is going to rock. just need me some tires! OMG ITS OUTSIDE no car near both sides of my car so WIN!

just returned from my dealer and he told me my 12 is no more and will be a 13. he says the end of the month beginning of october. He showed me the order system it doesn't say those dates so its all speculation on his part but it sounds consistent with what is in this thread

he was surprised when I showed up in person must have intimidated him lol

Depends on if the dealer participates.

Do it as soon as possible. Once it gets scheduled, it it harder to get done if not at all. Then you have to have it dealer installed at more cost.

They can't swap. Each dealer is separate. Even ones owned by the same people. They would have to cancel the order and you'd have to place a new one at the other dealer. Don't do that as that would surely put you back in line.

My dealer actually said it is not uncommon for them to try and get vehicles from other dealers. Were they lying, or am I just misunderstanding?

They can dealer trade a car that is on their lot or sometimes they can even ask to have a car redirected from the other dealers pipeline for a trade. There has been a few times we wanted a car from another dealer but we didn't have anything on the ground they wanted/needed;so, they looked at our pipeline and found something that we were able to redirect. But for a sold order, I haven't heard of anyone being able to trade with another dealer. That is a lost sale for them.

Don't know how many people had ordered one and received it yet, but there are only 4 available for sale in the whole country. One in Indianapolis. Two in Arizona; and one in California.
