Default boost leak tester

hey, i just installed my STi TMIC on my 02 wrx and now it seems like i have a boost leak. i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions or possibly a boost leak tester i could use to figure out where this leak is coming from. the TMIC i have only had 10k miles on it. i installed it with a new TB to IC hose, new y pipe and everything got new gaskets upon install. i never had any boost leak issues with stock tmic but as soon as i put this one on, boom boost leak. it makes me almost wonder if the core is where the leak is coming from. well if anyone has a boost leak tester let me know.

thanks

ian

You can make your own with a PVC end cap, a tire valve, and some hot glue. Not sure on the size you need for this, but should be connected to the after maf hose, just be careful and disconnect your PCV and evap lines as those all run on vacuum, and to plug the ones on you turbo inlet. Go back and check the connections of your y-pipe to intercooler, maybe it was torn a little

I'll take a look and see tomorrow. Go through and re tighten everything and check connections for rips or tears. I was just trying to resource and see if anyone in Germany already had or made a leak tester. If not ill go a head and make one myself. Thanks for the input man!
