I spotted an asain guy in a black 08+ STI on 95 southbound around 6:40pm today. I was in my 240sx and he gave a thumbs up. This was between the rt175 exit and rt32 he kept going when i got off on 32.

I didnt know if he/you are on here but my daily is a 2010 OBP wrx, tag on my 240 is MRBGONE (clive barker reverence) and my wrx is SXYREXY

I'm going to convert the bulbs to 9006 and put them in the fogs, then do this mod -- http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/show....php?t=2383843 . I figure LED fogs are better than no usable high beams.
Ive had them in for like 2 months. I like the bright white output for drl use but it's not worth it to not have high beam use. HellaUnfunctional.

I'm thinking of doing a retrofit then having the led's wouldnt be an issue.

We have it thru enterprise fleet so we just take it to Valvoline for oil changes. Haven't had any problems other than a airbag light coming on. Do you know what could cause that?

Yeah, most likely its fretting corrosion in one of the sir connectors. Usually just cycle the connector a few times and add some dielectric grease and you're good.

Where abouts are the connections? You wouldn't think a new truck would already have corrosion.

It depends on what the code is. That will tell you what area of the truck to look in. It's not the kind of corrosion you're thinking of. It's microscopic. It's a result of the connector moving around and the terminals moving around on eachother. Like when a battery sparks and leaves behind burn marks, but on a much smaller scale.
This is just speculation though, i don't even know what the code is. It's just a common issue in most part model GMs.
Another one is off you have any type of electrical device on the passenger seat. Cell phone, charger, ipod, etc...that can set a code too.

May be a little vague because I heard more of the car then I saw... Stepping out of my house right now by the shell gas station on fleet st. In the city I heard a GREAT sounding looked like a Wrb hawkeye on some sorta gold rim. I don't want to mis-sight the rims or car but really just caught a glimpse! Look very clean and once again sounded great!
