Hey I just had a chat regarding this sway bar. Seems like it's only for base model. If you already have an rsb under there (sport premium or limited) you don't need all the hardware this kit comes with.

Aside from adding yellow film to your fog light lens has anyone ventured out with replacing the bulbs and had any success?

What is the difference between H16 and psx24w?

I really want to upgrade my fog light bulbs from the OEM and give it more a yellow look but I read mixed reviews about the metal around some bulbs will melting. Also I don't want to lose the light output which is why I don't want to put in LED's.

Thanks! MPG actually went up a little bit. Low end is a little weaker but has better high end.

The little nub in the socket of the bulb it the only difference. Just shave the nub off and it should fit.

I'm ordering a new 2013 WRX within the next week and debating on the SPT exhaust. Would this CBE work with an aftermarket downpipe (i.e. perrin downpipe with cat)?

I can't seem to find anywhere if the SPT is a 3" CBE instead of the stock 2.5". I just want to be able to go to an aftermarket downpipe and a stage 2 tune at some point down the road. I like the sound of the SPT but will not get it if I can't go with an aftermarket downpipe at some point.

I'm picking up my 2013 Premium 5 Speed next week... my first question is is there any short shifter kit out for the car yet? I would like to clean up the sloppy feeling of the slushbox 5 speed. Also, who's putting out coilovers. I want to have some parts waiting for this thing.

Perrin's short shift adapter fits perfect as well as any short shift kit from previous years. I took mine off my 02 bug eye.

Yes, I got the bracket and harness from Subimods but make sure you use the relay included with the Hellas and not the one supplied with the harness because it was buggy. The horn worked fine then after putting everything back together it didn't so we had to pull off the grill and check all the connections again. Everything looked fine so we decided to try switching the relay out and voila!

The supertones was one of the first mods I did. I mounted mine towards the bottom of the radiator and made my own wiring harness.

Thought about doing it but not sure it's worth it..plus I just don't care for that sound anyways I'd rather have a regular sounding horn...ford trucks have great horns!!!

There are two separate units if you will....one is for the horn and the other is for the alarm chirp. The one for the alarm chirp is located on the passenger side of the vehicle in front of the wheel well. The horn itself is located in front of the radiator towards the bottom just behind the front bumper. The supertones should be wired in with the included relay. This can be done by purchasing the wire harness or doing your own wiring. The horn itself has no bearing on the chirp when you lock/unlock your car. Subimods.com is a good place to start. They have the horns, wiring harness and mounting bracket.

Thanks for the insight. If I understand you correctly, the unit for the alarm chirp is the same as for the remote start chirp, which is a different unit from the primary horn? I.E. I should be able to just wire up the hellas according to their instructions, and not worry about them being activated with the remote start system? Is it possible to just remove this secondary unit?

I can't comment on the remote start feature but the unit for the alarm chirp is completely separate from the horn. When the alarm has been tripped though, it's the horns that go off. I can't remember for certain but I think there is a way to disable the chirp when arming/disarming the alarm. If not, it can always be unplugged.

For the remote start, the horn is honked when the car is started. Not the beep of the alarm chime.

hey, some of you may remember that i mentions about getting after market fog lights. they are advertised as 7 watt smd high power led. yea, not sure, but i wouldn't call them an "upgrade" but they are brighter than ordinary stock halogens and other LED bulbs. but there isn't much usable light. not like the oem had any better.

brighter than oem, i took a pic of the oem on my phone but accidentally deleted it. also headlights were unplugged to the lights are just the fog lights!!!

Thanks for the pics. If they are just a tad brighter as you noted than the OEM H16 halogen bulbs then I would considerate a worthy upgrade.

Wrong color for fog lights though.

I find the vinyl overlays i put on mine combined with my h9 low beams create enough contrast that my fog lights actually help, in fact i used them 2 mornings ago in some misty conditions and was actually pleased with how well they worked.
