Idk how you like the q300 dual exit on the 2008+ hatch if it's version 2. It's stupid drone below 3K

Installed the q300 2 weeks ago and I am in love with it. Great look, Better sound. Not a whole lot of drone and a lot quieter then I thought it would be. Also can be loud when you want it to be good choice all around IMO.

Update your profile for hatch or sedan. Q300 on hatch is completely different than on the sedan. Also the v2 quad is different than version one or the single exit make sure to give accurate information.

It's the quad on my 2012 sedan. I have heard its MUCH different in the hatch. Sorry about the confusion I use a phone app and can't update my profile with it also that is with stock DP.

So I have a catless(gutted) cobb downpipe and the old version Nameless axleback for the hatch with the magnaflow muffler. Still using the stock midpipe and maybe wanting a little more noise. I can't afford a new catback, so I'm just wondering what the cheapest options are for an aftermarket midpipe that mates with stock axleback location.

I can try to post a video up by the weekend ....
I'll be at Subiefest if any of you wanna hear it in person .....

I'm running a Catless Downpipe with mine and the exhaust has very slight drone on the highway if any at all.... On the throttle it's throaty and sounds deep , high RPM it gets quieter , but still stays true to the flat 4 sound .... stop light to stop light it is loud and can be heard ... On the free ways it's more than tolerable with minimal drone
I've never heard the grip but the straight design of the DTS sounds mean !!!!
Lol that's my best description ....
Video will be up tomorrow

I had a magnaflow before this and the sound was terrible
I had a nameless and the sound was ok

Hey what's up guys. I just installed my Ark DT-S last Friday the 7th. I was actually the first to get it for my 2011 obp sti. The pictures on the site are of my ride. I must say it was an honor to be a part of this. This exhaust is simply amazing. I have it paired with agency power UEL headers, grimm speed up-pipe, tsudo down pipe. The sound it produces is unmatched. Perfect smooth tone. Keeping the suby rumble that we all love. All while have close to zero drone. There are times when I can't even hear the exhaust in the cabin. The guys over at ark know their stuff.
Also an FYI. We might have heard that a down pipe could be in the works in the near future.
Videos should be up sometime after they finish editing.

Just got my Q300 installed yesterday on my 11 sti sedan and I love it. Very happy I made the choice to get it. It is 10x better than the maganaflow I had, alot better sound overall and not to mention fitment is alot better. Definitely recommend this exhaust for people looking for something not obnoxiously loud with no drone at all. Overall extremely happy! Heres a crappy cell phone pic of it

Speaking of drone....or lack thereof, MadDad Street Essentials catback on '11 hatch. Absolutely no drone, pretty quiet, great sound overall, lots of clearance for upgraded swaybar.

Please excuse the poor quality of pictures. I would normally use my SLR for this but it was stolen from my house few weeks ago

Shiny:

This is what sets this exhaust apart: detachable tips whose position can be adjusted for height and forward/backward movement. Basically, you can stick them out more or less and point them down or up. So much win!

Show quality, look at those welds:

Craptastic general pics:
