Uhh, sorry your dealings did not go as you expected. In comparison my dealings with Tibor have been gone well. Although it seems like you are leaving details out.

I've been having trouble with Tibor and Q-Rack as well. My rack failed after 3 months and they agreed to warranty it. They've now had it in their possession for 7 months and have stopped responding to attempted communications with them. I'm looking into legal steps to get this resolved.

Hey heads up!

The lack of communication from the vendor is disappointing.

I am saddened to hear of people paying for goods and not receiving them in a timely fashion or being made aware of "delays". Simply poor business practice.

I have read stories of people not getting a rack back after 7-8 months. One of the Regional Vendors got fed up and filed a theft claim with the OPP. Then the "representative" started to communicate. (squeaky wheel getting the grease)

Conflicting stories from the representative leads me to believe the representatives are doing damage control. The story simply isn't straight. Priority shipping issues & Returned goods? Moved shop? Whatever the case seems like people are getting the run around.

I have a Q-rack and Tibor is a great guy, a true innovator. Its unfortunate that his staff & business practices are not representing them well.

Contact info.
(As they say the squeaky wheel gets the grease! ) try contacting them at the below contact info (snagged from IWSTI)

The web site lists only Tibor's email address: apro@q-rack.com

For what it's worth, I've had a great experience with Q Rack. I've had my 11.5 to 1 piece since 2009, and it still works like a champ.

Lucky you got yours.
There was a group buy at TIBORs from Germany and they are still
waiting for 9 QRACKS.
No delivery for 9 months !!!

If this is how Canadian companies work - OMG.

I finally gave up and filed a complaint with the BBB and they have made ZERO attempt to rectify the situation, ignoring all of the attempts from the BBB to contact them. Tibor and company clearly don't give a damn about their customers or, apparently, their reputation.

fwiw i shipped out my rack to get rebuild by qrack on feb 1st. I had it back in my hands mar 1st.

Have had it installed for a couple weeks now and after the first terrifying drive to bleed it out (lol) it has been nothing but amazing!

I hope everyone else's issues get resolved quickly because it is an amazing product and worth every penny I paid.

They are still working on everything and I'm sure it will all be resolved.

q-rack is a horrible company. Their website lies in turn-a-round time and after 3 months of not receiving a product i respectfully asked for a refund and still have not got anything from them. So technically thats stealing and over $1300 out of my pocket. They will not respond to repeated emails and when I do get something it's empty promises on getting anything out of them. DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!!!!

Still no resolution with my formal complaint with them. They finally acknowledged the BBB case I filed against them, but completely lied about an attempt to resolve my case. I have written proof they're trying to lie their way out of it. Just flat out shady and I would encourage anyone else having a problem to also file a BBB case against them.

I should prob do that too because I still don't have my money from them and keep making up excuses as to why they can't.

You started the process with your cc. Lets just wait for that ...you the only one ever done that In10 years in my business to ask refund. So lets see how it works out. I can send you your order tomorrow if you wish. I don't send steering racks out ever unless they are 100% safe. That's the way I operate. From qrack

This was latest reply and am upset because whether or not I ask for my money he isn't going to give it up. I've stated over and over I just want a refund and walk away from this.

Angry This is crazy.

I almost ordered a rack from them as well.
I went as far as called him he said to send funds to pay pal. and then he would refund me for my rack (core), and I thought it was weird that I would have to go through pay pal for everything when a cashiers check should work fine.

Also, there has to be another company out there that can make a quick rack for our cars? Has anyone ever heard of another company?
Thanks
jeff

there are also quick columns available if that's your fancy for less money.

pretty sure you're thinking of L&E Fab. They're in colorado but do not make a quick rack. They do make a quick column which is quite a bit different. It just uses a steering quickener on the column.

http://www.landefabrication.com/steering.html

But if you're willing to go that route you might as well save even more money and just buy a quickener from ebay (100-150 bucks) and install yourself. Know a couple people that have done that. Seems to work...

Default Well who would buy the parts to make their own quick rack?

Ok so here is the deal.
I have a company that will cut the gears for me. To make my own quick rack. They will blue print the parts needed to increase the steering to 11:1. And then they will CNC the gears from Forged steel. They machine parts for the military, and have an amazing facility. I am not sure on the price yet, I'm sure the first one will cost more but after that the price will be reduced alot.
If you are interested let me know.

Or send me your rack and I will convert it for you. And send it back.
And it WON'T COST an ARM AND A LEG. Like Q-RACK.
