The resident clutch guy has a kid now so i won't speak for him, I'll let him speak for himself if he's interested in taking on new clutches.

Can't say for sure but with having a shop now I'm betting moore will be able to set you up

Anyone want to help me do this: center diff transfer drive bearing R&R work on my 5mt?

Spoke with Ryan and 3 other shops, but my budget is tight and quotes are all over the place. Been told it's not too bad.

What do i need to do to get it in a drivable state to limp to a shop?

Thats not the right answer. You were supposed to say something like "loosen up this nut and it'll be magically all better". At least I have temporary transportation available.

maybe post pics and measurements, cause all i'm imagining is:

how big was this pothole? what wheels?
i've hit plenty huge ones i thought would break my wheels, but only worst ever was bend the lip a bit. i'm talking HUGE sharp edged potholes in concrete! some hit with my 19s! like, i was sure something broke. but no bends, not even alignment off.

If I knew how to post a picture I would. I'll see if I can figure it out.

It kinda looks like that Focus but vice-versa: top of wheel in, bottom sticking out

Wheels are OZ Superleggera 17x7

You broke the front right strut. Everything else should be fine.

thats a lot of energy. trashing a wheel and toasting the strut. seriously, what did you hit!?!! maybe if the strut was blown it wouldn't absorb much energy, but if you did that much damage from just driving into a pothole, there's bound to be something else busted or on it's way out.

I hit a corner of a curb once and bent one of my coil overs, the ball joint also broke.

Unconfirmed what I hit. I was driving south on Route 8 in Shaler heading towards 28 on my way home. I was in the left lane and changed to the right to get past a super slow car. Just as I get myself over BAM!!!!!!!

It was a forceful event. I don't know what happened.

From your first post I thought it was the hub making you think the wheel was bent. Like it went /|\|/|\ as it rolled. Which would suck. A lot.

Damn. Those were some nice wheels. At least you may be able to find a single replacement easier than a lot of other wheels.
