I actually ran a 17x9 et38 245/40 star specs. Its HARD to run such a wide tire, be low, have good fitment, and still handle well without rubbing etc.

So your car gives me some hope... I have some 18x8.5 et48 wheels and 245/40/18 tires that I had on my Speed3. I was wondering if I used a 15mm 5x100 to 5x114.3 adapter making the the offset 33...could I fit them on my saabaru w Mach V springs?

Like I said, I have a pretty good pull in the rear, and a completely relocated bumper tab, and it still rubbed pretty good at that height on 245's.

If you want a very functional setup without any rubbing. You'll need to do everything I did PLUS raise it at least a 1/3 of an inch. Believe it or not but the first time I ate my front fenders in was on my meaty setup, not the stretched setup.

I was told. Sway bars endlinks and an alk kit also help. Plus roll and pull if necessary. Are u currently on ur star specs. 240/40/17?
