# 308 Here. New Subie owner but I was so happy to be a part of such a great milestone. Being part of a record breaking attempt was cool, but the fact that it was put on by Matthew Marker's family, in his honor, resonated in me the most. Subarus brought his family together through racing and it brought all of us together as Subaru lovers. I've wanted a WRX ever since I bought an SVT Focus back in '04 (because I couldnt afford the WRX). I thought the Impreza was amazing rally / all weather driver's car, but now I see why people REALLY love owning these damn Subies

i was #77, sorry to bring this thread back from the dead but..i know we beat the record, but havent heard anything in a while..for others in the parade who may know, is there gonna be anything in the 2013 Guinness book or how will this be recognized as official record breaking? i hope they put it in the book, it would be cool to have a copy and say "hey i helped break that record!"

Last word was we broke the record but are giving us a hard time about gaps in the line..

Its looking like this is going to be a yearly event at this point, not so much for the record aspect, but for how WELL everyone came together...

It was truely something special for a number of us (tent city)
