Hello Everyone-

I have been on NASIOC for a while now and have been mostly just looking around at different things people are doing with there cars. Have to say there are so many people with so many good cars I didn't think mine should waste the space. But I decided to post it up just to share some of my experiences with my car.

To start off this is my 3rd WRX, not for bad reasons but because I got hooked with my first 2003 WRX and after time wanted more power so moved on to a 2005 WRX STI. I loved both cars very much because to me they were very different in how the drove. Both cars went to stage 2, the STI to a stage 2 protune. When I saw the 2011 WRX coming out and how it looked, I knew it was time for a new Subaru. So in December of 2010 I ordered one. I liked the STI but didn't like it as much as the wrx for daily driving and going in and out of city streets. Both in my mind are very nice cars just made for different people.

I ordered my 2011 WRX with a SPT Strut Tower Brace, STI Short Throw Shifter w/ Rear Bushing and the Duracon Shift Knob. From the first day I saw it I fell in love with it. The look, the feel and driving it everything was the way I had wanted it to start with....

First thing I ordered for my car was a Cobb AccessPort. Flashed the car to Stage 1 at the first oil change and dropped in a K&N filter into the stock intake. Car ran so much better then stock. Ran some data logs and everything looked good!

Next I had decided to go stage 2 so ended up ordering a Invidia Catless Downpipe and a Agency power exhaust. Really liked the exhaust, sounded very deep and clean. To me it was louder then the video's they have on it though. Quiet at idle but loud at WOT.

My GF didn't like the exhaust and I decided I wanted to go with something that didn't have drone on the highway but could hear it when I wanted to. So I ended up ordering a Q300 Single Catback Exhaust and at the same time decided to pick up a pair of Tomei Equal Length Headers w/ up pipe. Installed the Catback but waited on the headers. Funny with the single exhaust I had to change the map to the low wastegate map because I started over boosting....

Before the getting protuned I wanted to get a couple of more things just to get the most out of what I had done and make what I had run safe. So I ended up ordering a Process West TMIC, a Deatsch Werks DW65C Fuel Pump, A HOA 3 port boost solenoid, a TurboSmart Kompact rec valve, a K&N typhoon intake, a Cobb turbo Heatshield and a grimmspeed master cylinder brace. The brace and heatshield I installed once I got it the other stuff took a little bit longer to come and wanted to wait till closer to the tune.

I also decided I wanted to get some gauges before I went to crazy so decided to get oil pressure and boost gauges from prosport. To Hold them the SMY cluster to go with it.

Once I got everything I emailed Eric at Torqued Performance to have a map made for me. Eric was awesome!!! I put everything on and had him tune the car and it runs so smooth and strong. I have to say in customer service he was great!

Only thing since that I have installed was a Grimmspeed Air Oil Separator just to be safe.

Hopefully you enjoyed my write up!

Thanks man. Still new to going past the intake and exhaust point. I know I'm pushing it in power but already am saving up for building up the motor. Not sure the route to take with that but hopefully have some time to decide.

Thanks man. Next up a protune at IAG. Once it cools down a little. It's been in the 90's for about a month straight.

Just ordered up the Eibach sway bar kit and Kart boy end links. Might be a little before I post my impressions on them but definitely will. Still trying to decide on what coilovers.... Open to suggestions.

Do you think you could take a quick video of your exhaust setup? I am interested to hear the Tomei EL headers.

Yeah man. I had one from the dyno pull I did a little bit ago. Just didn't post it cause it was a 97 degree day and wasn't the best to go off of. Plus wasn't to happy with how it was tuned. Went back to the TP tune becuase the pro tune just wasn't smooth at all. Plus it knocked a little mid way through the powerband which I didn't like. You can hear it in the video I believe.

But I will say I have both a catted and catless downpipe and with the EQ headers they both sound very different. Both sound the same at idle but at WOT the catless sounds really raspy like F1 car and catted sounds deep and smooth. I'm not sure but I think the muffler has mostly to do with that due to the increase in exhaust flow when catless.

Hey Guys-

I wanted to post in here first. My girlfriend lost her job so unfortunately I have to sell the car and part it out. If you check my profile you will be able to find everything I am selling. Luckily this is a second car so I wont have to settle for something real quick to make this change. Let me know if there is anything that you want or any question you have. Thanks
