Just thought I throw in my dos pesos again.

I drive from Ann Arbor to Ferndale for service because Hodges is the epitome of all dealerships.

Default Hodges has my vote as best dealership

Much much better than Suburban! Oooo..hate those guys. Tried getting me at nearly 1,000 OVER sticker when I ordered my WRX.

Service is OUTstanding...hope it's the same without Jeff there.

Wow..exceeding the current level? Great.

Unfortunately I've sold the WRX (now have an 80Quattro) for money purposes. BUT...wife still has her Legacy Outback.

Who knows...in two years I hope to come back to you (and Chuck) to perhaps locate an STi or another WRX.

Great service....you guys rock.

Default Mod friendly?

What is Hodge's stance on modifications? I live in Michigan, and will likely use Hodges in the future to service my WRX. I am currently debating whether or not to install a few mods (uppipe, downpipe, wheels, turbo gauge, new speakers). Nothing too extreme, but I don't want to void my warranty.

I know that some dealers will only void the warranty if the problems are a direct result of the mods. Others will void it regardless of the problem, if there are any mods.

Let me know what your take is on this, as it will contribute greatly to my decisions on whether or not to mod my car.

Thanks,
Jeff

Just wanted to reaffirm that the service guys at Hodges are THE BEST! They are friendly, professional, and trustworthy. I've never been to a dealership's service dept before that I knew I could rely on what they said without taking it with a grain of salt. They installed a new clutch for me this week and the car was in and out in one day!

Thanks again to Ben, Greg, John, and all the other guys that made what could have been a real bummer into something I could laugh about! You guys ROCK!

Our stance on modifications is if it causes the failure,or intrudes on our ability to diagnose,or repair a problem then we cannot work on it under warranty. (Catless exhaust and trans issue is a no go as legally we would be removing the converters,a big no no) Or if a problem is obvious abuse (stripped gearset)

Any of the covnerters that are removed and not replaced with an OEM converter is no dice.

I am new here and wanted to say hi to all MI Members..

So the place to go to buy a WRX Wagon would be Hodges then?

Also, how long does it take if you order the car?

Thank you.

Default Hodges Subaru is the best!

I recently was in a very tight situation and Greg Kracht came to my rescue. He went over and beyond to help service my car. He certainly gave me a good perspective of Hodges Subaru. If you ever need any service done on your Subaru, I would surely recommend this place. Do your research and you would agree with me.

Hodges is the best in Metro Detroit!

Word of advice...stay far away from Suburban of Troy. This place tried to play the old bait and switch routine after I left a deposit on a new Tribeca. I went to Hodges the same day and they beat Suburban's price by $500 on the same EXACT vehicle.

Just got an 05 WRX from Hodges. The deal went very smoothly despite the fact that I was 300 miles away.

Good dealership and good shop with cool guys there. I have all my service done there, but just rolled over 60k so I may be going Oakos for any of the big stuff in the future. Can't go wrong with either of those places.

Hodges was the best dealership experience I've ever had. My wife and I own a pizzeria an hour northwest of Ferndale, where Hodges is located. We we referred there by a customer of ours who has been a customer of Hodges for years and owns 3 Subarus currently. Owner Bill Garcia was very friendly and helpful, even though he was busy overseeing some construction! He set us up with Chuck Modrack. Chuck was exceptional; polite, no-nonsense, and helpful. He didn't pressure us at any time, and only wanted to find out what WE wanted! John Zajac took care of the finances and had a great sense of humor about his job. (just Youtube his TV commercial LOL!) Chuck and receptionist Patricia Johnson were diligent in making sure we were constantly updated on our car, considering it took 3 months after order to get our new ride. IT WAS WELL WORTH THE WAIT! We were very impressed with Hodges from start to finish, and as a result we brought home a 2012 PBP WRX in July and we LOVE IT! THANK YOU HODGES SUBARU!

My family has been going to Hodges with 3 different Subarus for about 10 years. Always good service.
