Just curious on what dyno this was on? There's a thread around here somewhere showing what hp should = trap speed. Its all relative though depending on which dyno and correction factors

trap looks very low for 300whp. Did you trap alot higher on any other runs? How hot was it at the track?

I'd expect about 107-110+ trap speeds with 300whp

I trapped 106 with my 240whp set up, and 112 with 290whp. Both with 1.7-1.8 60fts, my current 375whp set up trapped 117 with a 3.2 60ft. A 2.0 and a 30r is terrible lag with no launch, should be low 120s with a decent launch. So you should expect around 110mph at least imo. I'm at about 4300ft altitude also.

car #82

i put down 335/420 on TheShopCT's dyno 93 pump

best trap was 110.32

i think i would put down 300 on a mustang dyno... TheShop's dyno reads similar to a dynojet

stage 2 + el header + ewg

2004 STi, running a small FB Green setup (IWG, 7cm, 2.4" inlet)
Put down 320whp on a low-reading Mustang dyno (correction factor = 1)
Ran 11.9 @ 115.9mph

This was back in 2005/2006, but it counts, right?

You're probably not putting down 300whp if you are trapping 102mph (best).

I no longer have the graphs or the car but putting down 300whp/330 lb-ft on airboy in an "03 hybrid WRX I would consistently trap 112mph with one 113mph pass

^^ wow, great traps for that whp

I'm curious as to the weight of bugeyes vs. STI's. I've read about bugeyes trapping pretty high with less whp.
