How easy does the vinyl come off? If I want to change the look in another year... Will it leave a film behind when removed?

Fairly easy. Apply heat with a hairdryer, and SLOWLY peel.

it was a pain to install these...and one overlay wasn't cut correctly but overall very happy how it came out.....

These are the red overlays with the light smoked middle. I haven't installed the third brake light overlay yet. I'm pleased. I found a good guy in downtown KC who had experience installing overlays on wrxs for around 25 bucks.

I've got a Silver '13 hatch on order.

Can't decide if I want to do the third brake light nor can I decide if I want to get the smoked redout or just regular redout.



B@t, do you have any pictures of the smoke redout third brake light?

You can always do the red and add the tint over it later if you want.

I do on a Scion tC. See my Gallery. There's also smoked redout tails in my STI Gallery .

I'm trying to flatten them out and placed books/weights on top. Should be easier to install if they're flat right?

Hey, I heard great things about PDI Tinting from KCSubaru.com. I am in contact with him to install my bats as soon as I have a free day. I contacted him a few times, he says he generally doesn't like doing pre cut overlays unless it's nice material.

Let me know where you decide to go.
