I was wondering the same as OP. My car put down 335/375 on a mustang dyno, 110 degrees. Before wcf it put down 255/290, that has me worried that I wont trap over 106ish. Hopefully the cooler weather bumps up the power?

All other things equal, the cooler the temp, the more the powah. Just log to make sure your IDC isn't too high and you're still safe.

OP, why don't you post your full setup as well as dyno graph? Also, at what RPM are you shifting at?

You would have made around the same power with 650cc, IWG, stock heat range plugs, and an STI TMIC. |

You're probably seeing that low of a trap speed as a combo of a slow launch and/or the dyno reading high. |

Matt, on that same dyno, i was @ 468 with CF, and trapped 119.
12.12 @ 119, IIRC. crappy launch, crappy tires, spinning the rear thru 2nd. ![]() ![]() Last edited by Z0rr0; 10-04-2012 at 12:59 PM. Reason: dyno sheet |

In addition, why is the tune cut around 6.7K? I would have it tuned to 7k-7.1K. |

Sounds like you're at elevation so the dyno correction factor for a turbocharged car is not accurate as someone else has mentioned. Based on that other correction factor I see you're likely making 255 whp.
With that said every dyno is different. On the a relatively low reading dynajet I had a customer with 290 whp pump gas hit 110 (stock turbo sti, Hydra EMS,TBE, FMIC) and my car went 112 mph with 309 whp pump gas (same mods). Other dynos in our area need 335-340 whp to hit 110-112 mph. Now you know so adjust your HP goals to get the trap speeds you want. |
